Let me say I am extremely disapointed with my Rudy Her face is beautiful but I am not sure it makes up for her body. The resin quality is very poor and extremely shiny. I have a Yumi 1.2 who is much better quality when I compared them. I am looking at the bodies and I am having a hard time seeing how Rudy will stand even after sueding and wiring. Her legs seem weird. I am very sad about this. Also I got my doll yesterday and they sent me my shipping notice today which was pretty funny.
from experience ..... even though I designed my Moona with one, the 3 part torso can be a nightmare ...it can flop ..it collapses when you try and stand it ...but you wont get a more natural poser ...they can be made to be stable and no crazy limb problems ...but they need work hot glue suedeing , wireing ...tightening the cords works if you get a very fine finishing sponge like a Oakey 240 grit rub it over the surface of your doll all that shineyness will go but when you have just spent over $200 on a doll maybe its something you dont want to do I will let you know what my girl is like when she arrives ...which isnt today I was just thinkiinh Notdoll Lucy is the same ...with the 3 part torso and the knees double jointing ...Crazy leg and body can drive you nuts ...but the way she sits in your hand ...sigh ...just love her ...I just dont try standing her up LOL

I also have a Yumi version 2, and I was very pleased with the quality and smoothness of the resin. How sad they seem to have changed it I hope sueding and wiring will help your girl to pose better, it did wonders for mine.
Oh so finally someone received Rudy!^^ I'm waiting for mine too and I'm a little bit disappointed for the lack of communication =___= I hope she will arrive soon she's so cute!
Goodness, she has the cutest face! Can't wait to see more pictures. I love the Roono doll faces, sure hope they get thier "act" together soon! I am glad I am not the only one who dislikes the 3 part body, it is so hard to pose the doll with it. I really prefer the two part or even the non-jointed body on the tinies.

she arrived ....LOVE the outfit LOVE her wig (which normally I take off and throw in a box LOL ) and I dispite her crazy legs ...I love her she slouches when she stands , she wont look at me ...she is such a shy creature I do like her , very much , her face- up is just so delicate it took a couple of seconds with the Oakly finishing sponge to get rid of the shine on her arm , so will do the rest of her now ..yeah ..like very much And I think she may become a red head LOL
