I have finally made both of my girls some real clothing!! Yay!

Yes, I'm going to get a Betty in tan skin! I didn't like her sculpt in white/normal but I think she would be absolutely lovely in tan!

 

I've wanted a Charlotte since I first discovered these dolls and I am just so incredibly glad I couldn't decide up until now. The news of a tan skin release has me decided for good.

I'm already planning out how I'll style her...

 

Good news/bad news:

SB Tan will be sold for $210 (blank)

Bad news: They're not releasing Diana or Betty in tan until next year. :'(

So only Charlie and Charlotte are available for tan this period. Darn, I really wanted a tan Betty!!

 

Well, that saves my wallet for now! I hope to pick up a tan Betty as well. I'm just wait over here patiently....

 

I am so excited about the tan Charlotte and Charlie! It's my birthday in December, so I'm considering getting a Charlotte as a present to myself!

How easy is it to find clothes and wigs for these girls? I'm really not used to the size, so that's going to be a challenge.

 

~_~ Not going to lie, it's pretty freakin hard finding clothes. It doesn't help that I'm picky, and not great at making my own clothes, either. For reference, they fit in some Barbie tops (stretchier the better), and some Barbie dresses, however their butts are a bit too large so it would need some modifications. They also fit into Monster High boy tops perfectly as well as Ken clothing (pants and tops). I use these as a base for drafting patterns. I've heard they fit into YoSD dresses but are a bit baggy and need to be taken in on the back, and they can fit Momoko clothing but the top does not close. They also fit in YoSD shorts/pants but would also require some darting to make the fit a bit tighter.

It's also hard finding wigs and eyes, as well. Charlotte looks great in 10mm but I strongly suggest that Charlie should use a low-dome 08mm (which I have yet to find). Luckily Leekeworld does make 4-5" wigs but the colors and styles are very limited. Some wigs say they are 4-5 but have no stretch so they may end up not fitting at all.

YoSD Shoes fit perfectly fine, however they fit better with socks. Facets by Marcia shoes for fashion dolls also fit if you're looking for heels.

So far, I've made the clothing my girls wear and their wigs. After I get some free time (probably around X-mas), I'm going to compile all of the patterns I've made so far.

I traded my YoSD over the summer and sold all of her clothes bar some items I loved far too much to let go. Pretty glad I didn't now because they'd fit a Saintbloom fine with a little adjustments

 

So I decided to repaint my Saintbloom Charlie to have a more gender-neutral faceup.

I think I am going to get a Charlie in tan and make her super girly like my Charlotte, and have my normal skin Charlie bit more of a tomboy.

 

Your Charlie looks great with the more neutral face-up. I love the outfit too, where are the boots from? Are they YoSD sized?

I'm definitely going to get a tan Charlotte in December. I love her pouty little mouth!

When Saintbloom sold the white Rosemarys, was there a limited release or was it unlimited orders during the order period? I'm off work on December 1st, so if they go on sale straight away I can hopefully order on the first day, but if it's later in the month I'm worried I won't have enough money to do it. December is such an expensive time!

 

the boots are from war-toys.com - some of thir clothing fits as well.

the boots need a bit of a squeeze to get on and off but after a while they loosen up and become easy to put on

 

Which brands on War-toys did you have luck with Kayke?

I'm interested in getting boots and a pilot cap, so just wondering.

Did you make Neva's clothes?

 

Would Pocket Fairy-size wigs fit Saintbloom? They're size 4 according to the website, are Saintblooms closer to size 5 than 4-5?
