I always Betty and Colette in tan but it comes out to over $400 with out the shipping added in and I just can't do it! I have one big layaway going already and anticipate one more. I really hope he doesn't give up making dolls!!
I have always wanted a tan skin Charlie, she's been on my wishlist since I saw pics years ago. I mentioned to a relative that I desperately wanted her, but I'm strapped for cash as my tuition bill came in higher than expected and they loaned me half the money/gifted me the other half as a late birthday n early Christmas present. My little dream girl is finally coming home! And it only took her being discontinued!

Thank god I subscribed to this thread. I wanted a tan doll, I'm not sure which sculpt. I hope they are making the one I wanted!!! Maybe getting two heads would be a good idea? Awww I guess alexisbears' brown (tan?) Diana was the one I really liked. Which is out of stock.... and not being offered. Charlie and Charlotte are very cute though.

Thanks everyone! Sorry to everyone who can't get a girl now, but I'm sure there will be some impulse buys that will be available secondhand soon enough :B I agree about their clothes being difficult. I've heard yo-sd clothes fit and then that they don't fit, so for now I will be sewing and knitting my own items >__<;; The shoe sizes confuse me, so I think I'll hold off on ordering anything until I can measure her and compare her to dolls I have.
I guess I need to take a very quick look at my Saintbloom girls as the order period is almost over. I originally got a tan Betty through the marketplace here and liked her well enough to buy a couple of others although I've never been able to grab a Diana. Like you all, I am hoping that Saintbloom is just discontinuing this line and will go on to make other dolls. Until recently, he has been very quick and reliable, and I enjoyed doing business with him when I ordered directly. Now I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?
Btw, I haven't had a lot of trouble dressing these girls. Mattel Ken doll pants and shirts fit pretty well as do some Barbie clothes although they are iffier. I like my girls in pants and hoodies which are normally loose so I really haven't had a lot of trouble personally. The problem with these smaller dolls I have found is that even a half an inch an make a potentially good fit look terrible where it doesn't show so much on the bigger dolls. Good luck finding stuff!
If Ken & some barbie clothes fit her you might try any regular yosd / teenie clothes you have on hand or try to borrow some from a friend as Ken clothes usually fit the Soom Teenie gems and some Yosd size dolls. When I went to post this there was a black border on my DOA page. Maybe a glitch or something.

Arg! I hope the sculptor makes a renewal version of all these girls! I will also keep my eyes peeled on the marketplace. But for now I will sob in a corner and lament that I cannot buy ALL THE THINGS! LOL!!
I just purchased a full set Colette in tan. Mr.Saintbloom said she will be shipped the second week of september. I'm so excited this will be my first time ordering directly from a company.
