Apparently SJ offered the MSD fog gray edition dolls with two head options for the last few days. It's a bummer they did not do it for the SD, because I would have loved a more neutral extra option face for the Sarah I ordered. I asked them if there would be any chance they'd also allow us SD buyers to add second heads to our orders now that they allowed it for MSD, wish they'd say yes! I know that when they opened orders for fog gray SDs someone asked in q&a if they'd allow two heads and back then they said no, but there's hope they change that after the MSD policy. (And yes, I'll stalk your q&a post if you don't enter a password, can't help that I'm curious.)

 

Haha, you're not the only one to do this. You sometimes get interesting information that way.

 

Those of you who wished to have a 2nd head for their Fog Gray SD:s: Jay accepted the request of adding a basic head for my Sarah, so I'd think it goes for everyone that you can now add a second head by writing your wish on q&a including makeup wishes and he will send a separate invoice on it. Yay!

 

Hello everyone can anyone explain what that means on order status when it's written "before shipment "? Thank you.

 

Jay recently told me that they start to prepare shipment for your doll if this status shows up

 

Oh, it's very fast. I still need to pay 3 payments for my two dolls. Hope so to pay bit sooner as in 3 months

 

Thank you. It means is already made. Good to know. I still have 3 payments left to pay for them. So will need to wait

 

I guess it depends who you ask. But from experience I would say that what it only means is that your order has been paid in full whether one payment or thru layaways and that shipping may be from a couple of weeks to several months.

But not sure why yours say that if you are still making payments. it should say Pending.

So bizarre.

 

Thank you for letting us know. Did he invoice you for the head all at once or if you did layaway did he add it in payments?

 

I got invoiced $150 for the blank head via PayPal immediately and paid it off, I have never tried layaway so not sure how those work (invoices or just scheduled payments). I guess the separate invoice is their default, and adding to a layaway should be requested separately. Not sure if they do it, though.

 

I got email from Jay and was told that my dolls in the making process and it will be ready to be shipped around after 45 days. Plenty of time.

Have you guys seen the newly announced sculpt Sienna? I'm looking forward to seeing her. She already looks gorgeous without a face-up, I'm curious what she will look like when painted.

 

I saw her painted on fb or Instagram I think so. She looks nice but I would like to see something really different like Afro-American style doll or something like that.

 

The interesting part is that she looks to be tan, I wonder if it's a new color or their discontinued old color.

Anybody know?

 

Just saw her sales page. I really love her, especially in ivory skin. Very very tempted right now ...

 

she is for sale and no darker color listed, so not sure if that was amber beige. she does look lovely in her pictures.
