Sales-thread of Mathias is up. I really like him - alot! But my flat cannot handle a 73cm guy anymore

 

He's beautiful but thankfully I don't feel like I have to have him so I think I will pass and just get the armor this time!

 

@luluna I have a Yvonne in amber beige skin from the very first release and your Yvonne is sooo gorgeous in that wig, and her faceup + clothes are just wow! (that made me wanna a Yvonne in a lighter skin

I believe that Zeus is a limited edition mostly like what does iplehouse did with their HID line? Not going to be on sale as frequent as 71ATH I guess. Recently received my Joshua and the elbow part is indeed a nice job, hold up pose very easily.

Matias is so gorgeous! I love him and I can feel that alarm rings inside of my head at the really first moment when Jay showed Matias with his special blank head on insta I'm too weak on slightly opened mouth sculpt
(I don't need more dolls, I don't need more dolls...)

 

Will I stray from Asian sculpts? Matias with teeth has been my first temptation ever. Pandora’s box.

 

@Bren - @Khlovera - Thank you for your kind words. Yvonne is a lovely and versatile sculpt...it's amazing how different she can look with just different resin colors.

And I agree that Matias is gorgeous! Ugh what to do!

 

Hi! I’m hopping on this thread because I’m also charmed by Matias! I wanted to ask, how do the SartoriaJ resin colors line up with other companies’ colors? I saw that the Sonoran might be close to Iple’s real skin? How about the warm ivory and peach cream? Thank you!

 

The old original shades use to with Iplehouse, but the newer ones do not. Amber beige use to be a close match to Reasl skin, as was Peach Cream to PG but not now.

as an example.

Iple Ns, Elf Jude 73 newer Warm Ivory and 6/7 Jude head in original Warm Ivory. The older one was creamier looking.

 

Thank you @Bren! Do the colors happen to be close to any company with 65cm bodies, like Volks/Switch/Luts etc?

 

On my end, I don't know. I don't have any of those dolls mentioned. My collection is mostly Iple.

 

Also agree that Matias is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the idea of the two heads even if I wouldn't personally want the open-mouthed version. I think the outfit and armor are great.
... I can't use any of it.

 

Wow, I really love Matias! Well...the closed mouth head anyway. I'm not too keen on teeth in all honesty. His armour and outfit are incredible - really really wishing I could justify buying that alone.

 

@Ara I find that amber beige is very similar to iplehouse dark brown, the tint is different but the shade is almost as dark.

I don't have any dolls similar to Sonoran beige, but I also don't own any iplehouse real skin dolls. It's a lovely color and quite pale next to Amber beige.

 

huh. that's interesting cause I own both Iple Dark Brown and SJ Amber beige and I don't find them to be close at all. I also have Sonoran beige and yes, it's much paler than the Iple Dark brown as well Sj Amber Beige.

 

I'm also very very curious about the resin color comparaison now with iplehouse, can someone please show me a pic of current Sonoran beige VS iplehouse RS? or current Warm Ivory VS iplehouse NS or WS? Very very appreciated.

I'll be doing a most recent PG that I have VS SJ's peach cream tomorrow.

Thank you @Bren and I JUST saw your Lawrence head! (sorry Lawrence...you were hiding! as I was wondered why there's only recent and previous warm ivory but not showing iplehouse!

 

You are welcome, but I'm a little confused. Lawrence head? if you are talking about the head next to Elf jude, that's a 6/7 SartoriaJ Jude head in the original Warm Ivory. Normal Skin Lawrence is the full smaller size doll sitting next to the 71 elf Jude.

 

@Bren my bad I didn’t looked into that clearly so I mixed up their names. And thanks for the newer photo of elf grace and elf Jude! That’a even more clearer. Do you think that new warm ivory could be close to Iplehouse WS? Thanks again Bren

Iplehouse Peach Gold skin VS Sartoriaj's Peach cream skin
both made in Novembre of 2021 (Tried to find both with similar manufacturing date) and we can clearly see there's a difference between this two skintones. SJ's lighter and IP's pinker.

I don't really have new iple WS, only an old head that has mellowed with age so I can't verify about matching skin tones.

Thanks for the pics on the PG. I have an original Peach Cream 5/6 Jude head and had hoped to match him to Iple PG since I was told the older resin color did closely match iple, but the last PG FID that arrived to share a body, the shade skin of it was lighter than my previous CH PG big characters. I have a new Peach Cream 51 Elf Jude coming but I don't think it will match the Jude head either.

The FID body came June of this year.
