I have been looking so forward to the summer fantasy colors. But now I don´t even dare to think that far into the future. Oh well.

But if I could vote, I would vote for pale green

 

My ideal pastel purple would resemble the one that for example Twigling offers for her dolls. Definitely purple enough to show in pictures and not fade instantly. I agree that Soom violet is not really what I'd be after.

Oh, cool! I'm a bit new to Jay's dolls... does that mean we might get fantasy versions of some of his newer sculpts, too? I would kill for an elf or vampire version of Jenice.

 

@Kymera I wrote to Jay about the limited skintone for summer 2022 only, not sure about if dolls are getting the fantasy/elf version or not, maybe you can ask them via QA board

lol purple/green are both gorgeous, btw mint skin from Raccoondoll is a very good example, too

Yes, that's pretty much exactly what I'd want to see as well! Of course, I love blue best of all, but I have an entire race of purplish-hued people in my story, so...

SartoriaJ has now established a new section on their site called "forum"! This seems to be a place intended for customer wishes, so I imagine that's where we can also plant ideas for holiday event special resin colours. They also moved my two cents about the purple skintone there from the Q & A board.

The description of the forum is as follows:
"If you have anything to suggest or wish, please share it with us. If there is an item a lot of customers wish for, we are willing to release them as far as we can. Also you can post pictures to this message too. Just drag a file to the message and it will get attached."

She's lovely! Gives me Game of Thrones vibes. I dream of an elf Lobelia myself, too, after seeing Barbiefinger's faceups on them. Since Sartoria said they will rerelease elves again this summer, I'm keeping up the hope I could snag a Lobelia in their new limited summer skin tone. If they release a new girl body before summer, all the better! I already have two girls on the 61 aph body, and would really like to add some different bodies to my collection.

Oh I haven't yet seen Barbiefinger's faceup on a Lobelia. I will keep my eyes open to see one. Who does the faceups for SartoriaJ? Whoever they are...they are doing wonderful ones, I think.

 

@luluna Your lobelia I think has Barbiefinger's faceup? They are one of the official faceup artists for SartoriaJ, so if this is a SJ faceup on her, it's definitely a Barbiefinger one. You can tell them apart from the other SJ's artist(s) work by more defined bushy brows and more skin texture.

 

@vauhtikatti - That is good to know! I wondered who was doing SJ faceups recently as they are really...amazing. Yes, my Lobelia has an SJ faceup. I asked for the same faceup that they were using for the Fog Gray edition of her. I think she turned out wonderful.

 

Oooh. OK, so I asked on the forum if Jay had any plans for a fantasy Jenice (because I love her and she would look adorable as a fantasy head). They said not at the moment, but that they are working on another fantasy female head.

Which... YAY! But also my wallet is going to murder me because there are so many of Jay's dolls that I'm in love with.
