Final...for sure....
And some of the sculpts were only offered...once.
And...we only have nine days...to gather up the funds to do whatever we want to do.

 

If we could buy just heads, I’d try and buy one, but I’m out of budget for a full doll

I guess I’m never going to own a Yu unless she pops out on the secondary market.

 

OH my. My heart just jerked. OH my poor Jude....

 

Oof... I'm glad I may have at least another opportunity to get Jenice or Sarah. Really not in my budget right now.

My plan is to upgrade my LS Emily (in my avatar). I feel like Jenice is stylistically closer to the Emily sculpt, but Sarah might be closer to the amount of aesthetic sass that I picture her character having. (Fingers crossed for a head sale. I would buy both... and probably extras, because I often find myself wanting to have multiple faceups on the same head.)

 

I'm disappointed they won't sell the sculpts they are discontinuing as heads in this last ordering period. The Sartoriaj bodies are not my favorites but the facial sculpts are gorgeous and I would buy a bunch of them if they offered them as heads only in the discontinuation sale.

 

The response I got, for what it's worth:

"Unfortunately all the dolls are sold as full dolls with only one head.
One of the main reasons we are discontinuing some of the dolls is because it is too hard to handle many sculpts.
If we offer extra heads, discontinuing some of the molds won't make any differences and hope you can understand.

Sorry for the short notice and next time, we will notice it sooner."

 

I don't think Jay understood that we were thinking of this one time only as the discontinued face sculpt. I think it was interpreted as always selling heads. At least that's how I read it to be. Interesting.

 

I'm wondering that myself. I thought I was pretty clear with the wording of my question, though.

I haven't yet. I was waiting to see what others that I know had asked came back to say. I didn't want to be asking the same thing others were. But now this got me thinking.

 

I think it could help for multiple people to be asking as long as it's not the same person asking over and over again. I sent him an Etsy message with a more clarified question. He usually takes a few days to respond on Etsy so others may have a better method to reach him.

 

Yes, I agree. At the moment they are close for the weekend.

 

I got the same answer and had exactly the same feeling one the way they interpreted our request, okay, I'm a bored person so I will go and ask again, hoping they could understand what did we really wanted to

 

The Warm Ivory is creamy white. I don't have a Peach Cream doll but I am wondering what it compares to also. What color is your Limhwa body?

 

okay. I got the latest PG color from Iple body with an original Jude old PC color ( dark brown hair ) next to the lastest ELF Jude (blond) newer Peach cream color.

I don't have any new WI but I do have one pic with a Iplehouse RS Wendy and the original WI 71 ELF Jude if you are interested.

Possibly, but I think Iple's White skin may be a better match for Sartoria's Warm Ivory. I don't have an unchanged Iple WS doll (my only WS had mellowed so I didn't want to use it for comparison), but I do have a pretty much unchanged Iple NS and Sartoria WI. Here's the Iple Normal Skin (Elf Grace). I'll post the Sartoria Warm Ivory in the next post. BTW, they were taken in the exact same lighting, same position on my floor, within a minute apart under indoor natural lighting.

 

And here's Sartoria J's Warm Ivory (Serena).

Her skin color has next to no color in it (like a sheet of white paper) while Iple's Normal Skin does have a light hint of pink.
