He looks fantastic. Love the little details you have added in this picture. He can serve me tea any way. He's so handsome. I love the original Zak head, he works wonderfully with the EID model boy. Love the outfit. Beautiful blue color for the outer robe. SIGH.

I would like to ask if anyone could share comparison pictures of the current SartoriaJ's Sonoran beige and Amber beige with Iple's current formula of real skin? When I checked info about how SartoriaJ changed their original skin tones to the new ones they seem to me too yellowish/orange. I am a bit neurotic regarding doll skin tones more on the yellow side, so I want to find out if I even should consider getting Jude (I sold a doll in the past that did not fit color-wise with the rest of my dolls in Iple's real skin, so I do not want to be disappointed again). Thanks a lot in advance .

 

Their amber beige is definitely more yellow than Iple's Real Skin....


I can try another photo under more natural light, since this one was taken by incandescent light with a yellow glow.

I really like the amber beige! I was kind of on the fence about it, but you may have convinced me!

 

Hi! Does anybody know if a SD Lobelia head with human ears exists? I know there is a MSD human lobelia, but could not find a SD one on their site.

@Khlovera @Frillseeker thank you both, one exists so I have hope to own one some day! She's beautiful! I don't follow their products super closely, because they do not sell heads separately so I couldn't buy anything before they're produced anyway. I feel like I am always here asking Now to go research which resin I need to best match these gals to Iplehouse NS with a faceup (neck sanding will be a mandatory thing to use Iple bodies, that I already know).

 

@vauhtikatti, I have a Yvonne head in warm ivory that's on an Iplehouse SID in NS and the match is almost spot on. No sanding was needed for the neck. I can try to get a good picture later - unfortunately, I don't have any appropriately sized clothing for her just yet.

 

I had a Yvonne head in warm ivory and it was a perfect match for Iple NS, also fits on the neck without sanding.

 

Wow good to know! I have an Iplehouse nSID body coming any day. I planned on the new Rainman head but if it can’t be modded I might be looking for a Yu head.

 

I have a Warm Ivory Yvonne on a HID NS body and no sanding was needed...and the resin matches great.

It was an exciting delivery day today - my 63 curvy Serena arrived! She is peach cream and my first BIG bjd since I've been collecting the mini sizes. I am amazed by her beautiful hands and poseability. I look forward to making her some new outfits, but luckily managed to find a couple of SD dresses in readiness for her arrival. New shoes (wish they were human size!), and wigs too. I got blonde, but they don't seem to suit her at all, especially with a fringe/bangs!! Luckily I got a side part brown one

 

@LilyAndRuby Grats to your new girl! She looks so serene on that picture - quiet true to her name! I really like her color, it looks not too peachy. More like good old normal skin. I ordered a MSD girl in that skintone and I am horrible afraid it turns out too orange.

 

Thanks Ashemanu! Peach cream is a lovely colour, but I was surprised it's a bit more between NS and slightly towards Iple's peach gold than I'd expected, in my view. Certainly not orangey though, no worries there! I did have to tone the hue of that photo down quite a bit though, as her makeup is so much darker/redder than expected This may be a problem if I have to tone down all my photos to help her makeup look more natural.
