Sartoria J Design Group - Part 2

Does anyone know if there's any shops or other places that are creating clothes for Sartoriaj or is it basically just them right now?

 

Try to look on etsy. I know is not good to say here but I do clothes for SartoriaJ msd and sd dolls and have etsy shop.

 

Clothes made for Iple EID do mostly fit the 61Aph (unless they're very tight on the hips), so you can also look for stuff made for that size if there's not enough specifically for SJ.

 

I got some more clothes on my Vittoria...next will be some armor.

@vauhtikatti Very true!! All these marvelous people! I was curious if I get a Feeple65 foot in there, I just didn't want to be too off topic. I know SJ feet are .5 cm longer but wondering if they are narrower. I'm especially wondering because after being a long time lurker I am definitely going to order that gorgeous SD dagger that's available currently so thought I might as well see if anything else should be picked up!

@nancy_schroeder_ca Thanks!!! The ball width of the foot I'm looking at is really about the same so it miiight fit and the shoe would just be a little bit long....hmmmmm. Tempting!

 

@Ctrowbridge77 I have both the SJ middle and high heel feet and Feeple65 heel feet, but in the rush to get them and see for myself I realized I don't have any middle heel feet shoes, only high heel and flat ones, lol. I did test and Feeple65 heel feet do fit in SJ's high heel foot shoes and she can stand in them very well, but there is around 0,5 cm empty space at the back of the shoe if the doll hasn't got any socks on.

I did also take a picture of the soles of SJ middle heel foot and F65 heel feet (SJ on the left). They're with a very similar arch and pretty much the same size so I think the F65 feet can also fit middle heel feet shoes.

Yeah I was thinking I could also try stuffing a little cotton or something in the toe to make up for the length or put stockings on her. I'm definitely going to order a pair now and try it!

 

Thanks, good to know about the hips. I have an iplehouse SID and was surprised how different their bodies were, not sure why haha. But yeah I was sure they could share clothes, just curious if people had started creating more specifically for Aph 61.

 

It was interesting...the long black slip dress (I posted on the previous page) that fits the Aphrodite body (barely) is actually too tight for the SLIM SID BODY upper torso ...I was so shocked. I couldn't zip it all the way up on my Iple girl. (Though, I can still get photos from the front...)

 

Hey just hopping in here to ask if anyone has tried hybridizing the SID head with the 63 Curvy body? It's so pretty and I wish it was still in stock

There are so many wonderful offerings this August from SJ...and one can only get so much at a time. There are several options...I'd had loved to be able to add to my collection.

 

you were so smart to get both heads! Beautiful faceups on both- are they both the same skintone?

 

Your Vittoria is stunning in her fullset. I can't wait to see her armor!

 

@furbikini - Thank you so much! Both Matias heads are the same resin...Amber Beige. I have to get Vittoria dressed in her armor...(note to self).

 

Well... In the end it did happen that my Vittoria got to stay on the Soom ID68 body and I rehomed her 61 Aph body. Sadly she cannot now use the armor, but that's okay. Of all my dolls, she's the hardest one to take nice photos of, and it's affected my bonding with her a little (I should maybe try, if new different eyes would help, too, as these new Ornellas from SJ site look odd in 3/4 angle, the pupil on the farthest away eye always shatters).

I went through a sudden major purge in my collection and now I no longer have a character for this poor girl because basically everyone else from her story got rehomed. I am tempted to redo the faceup, because the viking themed tattoo was her previous OCs thing, and she also has very high eyebrows for my taste. I could give her a lily tattoo on one temple instead (as I was thinking of re-shelling her as this one character called Lilia).

Oof, this is bad, I have so many heads to paint during the winter suddenly...
