@Wittyilynamed I don't have quick and easy access to eyes today as I'd have to borrow them from other dolls I think but I have done a quick (not great) photo edit of Maya (excuse one eye now looks like she has a stye) to see if I could push her irises inward a little to give the effect of a smaller iris. I would prefer her like this, I just don't have many eyes in my stash

@susieagent99 and @LyanneNZ Thank you both so much! I am struggling with possibly missing out on Maya again but I also said I was gonna pump the brakes on dolls this year You may have made the decision harder, but I'll go in more informed!

 

Yes I have to confess that Maya was a quick decision for me when I ordered her (although with SJ you have to make fast decisions quite often and I am not great at that I can't dissuade you from her as I am really pleased with her and I love the cocoa brown.

I will leave a profile shot for you so that you can see her features from another angle

I am asking Jay if I can purchase Natalie on the 59 DPN body as my Malena is on the 64 MTN. Crossing my fingers because the height difference would make them extra adorable!

For those of you who own the solid type bodies, how do the legs pose? Can they cross over at the ankles and knees or nah?

 

This is my 61aph amber beige elf Luthien (no mobility joint, it's solid) Sitting with her legs crossed at the ankles is OK but, not at the knees. (last photo is blurry but, you can see that crossing at the knees is not pretty. I only have 2 SJ ladies, both are "solid leg)

 

@susieagent99 Thank you for the pictures! Your elf Luthien is very pretty as well! It's good to see that the legs can turn and cross a bit. I was worried they could only be seated straight and center.

I'm trying to decide how I should display my big girls, whether standing up or seated on a doll sofa (and if I could make their poses pretty). I've only collected blind box sized figures up until now, but I had said to myself, "go big or go home"

At least I already have an IKEA Billy bookshelf. It's just a matter of rearranging and decluttering the miniatures I've outgrown.

I have a few of the 2'x5' IKEA glass display units, and also a large wood/glass cabinet that my ladies are displayed in (dark room) I'm like you, go big, or go home. I've had the smaller dolls but, the 1/3 size is my "love"

 

Finally received my Agnes and Philip back from the spa (i.e. my face up artist haha) and they look amazing! I'll have to take some photos tomorrow. I really need to try and get all my SJ dolls on one photos.

My Lous XIV Edgar arrived yesterday. I ordered the smirking head but was sent the non smirking one. I don't mind though the doll is beautiful.
