Sartoria J Design Group - Part 3

I've basically decided to get Jade and Flora, as well as their outfits; just debating whether I truly want/need another boy doll and whether I can live with missing Edgar for a second time haha.

 

Order's in, I'm getting Jade/Galadriel. She's truly the best likeness to Galadriel that I've seen from any doll company and I'm happy she was designed and is being produced by SJ.

 

Oh lucky! Please show pictures once you get her so I can live vicariously through you!

 

(not that I want to enable but...) If you missed Edgar once, and you like the elf look, and, he's available again, maybe the "dolls Gods" are telling you something, get him!
I saw over in the SJ FB group that someone ordered him with the Louis XIV makeup instead of the elf makeup.

I really like S. Edgar, too. But, I will decide to miss him again. I was SOO unlucky that I missed out on pre-orders for Joey TWICE last year because of decisions I made. (First time was about a week after I put money on a different pre-order. I couldn't cancel. The second time, there was no money left in my budget. If she comes up again, I hope it's in the second half of this year.) I might even like Joey more than Natalie.
I'm joining the few that will miss out on S. Edgar a second time.

 

@susieagent99 @tinyflame Haha after much deliberation, I think I will miss Edgar a second time as well. I've decided I'll suggest that Jay consider re-releasing Derek as a doll of the month and if I get another boy doll, that would be it haha.

I am buying Flora and Jade and two outfits, so money isn't exactly being saved.

The Elves are all so pretty, but no way in hell I can spend more money right now e___e

I will try to see whether I could at least snatch Edgar's outfit.

 

I was supposed to be on a no buy for a while and even then, if I caved and bought another doll, it was supposed to be a male so I'd finally have someone to put in that gorgeous Musketeer outfit but how am I supposed to say no to Galadriel?

If my husband asks, Jade and Natalie are the same doll. They're both blonde, it'll totally fly under the radar

 

Congrats to everyone on their Elves purchases! The buzz of excitement is palpable and SJ team should be proud of such high quality creations! I personally think SJ couture is second to none.

@Ishamael Would you happen to have photos of your Natalie that you could share? I have yet to see any owner photos of her and I'm quite excited to meet my Natalie in the months to come

 

She's not home just yet as I bought her on layaway (which given that the room she's going to be in currently looks like a building site is probably a blessing ) but as soon as she's here, I'll happily share some photos. I can't wait to see your girl too!! ❤️

 

I ordered Isabelle from the latest Elf release and asked for a custom face-up. I'm so excited to finally see her when she arrives! Looking forward to see everyone else post theirs too.

 

Just took a look at "Whispers of Versailles". Mark looks really nice! But I am excited to see how the girls will turn out. And Vanessa´s outfit. As a girl a lifetime ago I was totally in love with that painting of Madame Pompadour (Grace here), will be interesting to see how that works out The outfits are designed for the corset bust, I wonder if it will be absolutely necessary though.

 

How many dolls are they supposed to do this release? Does anyone know?

 

On the bottom of Jay's April blog post update, it looks like the corset busts will be needed for the gowns with the ladies. I figure the fabrics they'll use for this release won't have much stretch (satins and silks), which would necessitate that snug fit.

I won't be partaking but oof, this looks like it'll be a gorgeous release. I can't wait to see it roll out.

 

Honestly so glad they're selling the corset busts separately, I have quite a few outfits from SJ at this point that look best with the corset bust. Finally wont have to choose just one girl to wear it haha. I'm gonna have to go crazy and buy like 4

Just recently started to play with my bigger dolls again. I had moved away from them in favor of the MSD size.
My Zak is the original head that was done back before Jay was doing SJ bodies, so he is on an Iple EID male model body. I'm thinking I might have to get Mark's outfit in the David size in hopes it will work on Zak. It looks like the David body measurements are pretty close to the Iple Model EID body.
