1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    4. Anyone have wig maker recommendations for SJ ladies? In particular, modern medium length wigs and curly updo styles.

It's a pain in the butt to wait for my craft supplies to arrive before I even attempt to make anything

Would be nice to find some ready-made wigs that surely fit well out of the box

    5. @sageyufi Almost all the wigs for my dolls are made by SophyMolly - she is very easy to work with and the quality is great. You can find her here: https://www.instagram.com/sophymolly/

She is from Russia which makes payments with Paypal impossible, but so far there were always other options. But you will need a credit card.

And the wigs are made to order, but they are totally worth the wait.

    6. Just read the body swap posts here. My Sarah, which I love alot, is on a 64 MTN-body which is directly from hell. She cannot sit, there is something wrong with her tighs. Ok, she can sit with legs outstretched, which takes far too much space. The moment I bend her knees they turn outwards while crossing her ankles, which forms a very awkward triangle. And looks horrible.
I am thinking of putting her head on my SID Kali´s body, and Kali´s head on the MTN-body, since she is mostly standing. Skin color is very similar. Thankfully my MTN Stella does´t have this problem, but I chose her with the mobility function. Maybe that makes all the difference.

    7. @Ashemanu Oh my gosh, thank you! Their wigs look exceptional and I see just the styles I need! Curls, glorious voluminous curls!

I have the 64 MTN solid type and she sits natural with her knees bent, thighs together. To my delight, she can also cross her legs by the ankles and over the knees looking nice enough just so long as something supports her back so she doesn't fall backwards. Could it be a stringing problem with your Sarah's body?

The one thing I don't like about Cori's body so far is the double jointing at her knees not locking in place very well because of the shallow grooves.

    8. what size would you say the big dolls come under in terms of clothing?
Ive seen a cute pair of jeans but the only sizes it states is SD13/SD16. I want them for my 59cm Evelyn, but dont know what size would be perfect

    9. @jp_bestie SJ ladies are in the category of “Big Girl” in the Chinese market—known for their fuller bodies. Their closest similar fit is Iplehouse dolls and possibly clothes for other big girls like IMPLDOLL. For the 59 DPN I think the Iplehouse equivalent is SID size. Make sure you compare measurements though.

On a curious note, could anyone tell me if SJ ladies can fit into SJ men’s pants?

    10. @sageyufi Thanks for the tip with the stringing! I just checked, it looks ok to me. Also when she sits with straight legs, her feet point automatically outwards. There is no way I can move them in any direction, the whole leg blocks any movement. This cannot be right. I took pictures and will contact Jay this evening. I don´t think I will get a solution though, it probably will be my fault one way or the other. I just know I am very unhappy with this girl for months now.

    11. 1) Try removing her head, using a hook tool or piece of strong string/leather/ribbon, hold the body tight (with your legs/or have a helper) pull up on the "S" hook and rotate, the elastic may be twisted. Sometimes while removing the head to dress, you turn the "S" hook and the elastic gets twisted, and you need to rotate it back a few turns.
      2) Hold the upper part of body, and pull each leg, and rotate a turn or two. The elastic may be twisted from the waist down.
      3) remove 1 foot, insert a strong pencil/pen/small screwdriver tool through the elastic, and turn a couple of times, put the foot back on, and try the position you want. If that doesn't help, do the other foot as well, and try the position you want.

The 2 elastic cords that runs from the "S" hook inside her head goes all the way to her feet, if there is any twisting going on, it affects the legs movement.
What your describing is a problem with "twisted" elastic.

    12. @susieagent99 Thanks for explaining! I just restrung her, completely. The problem persists, the moment I sit her down her knees and feet turn outward. To me it looks as if that is the only position that her upper thigh ends can move in the hip sockets. I feel so stupid and frustrated right now. I am in the hobby for 19 years and have restringed countless dolls. And I simply cannot figure this out.

    13. (scratching head) Hmmmm
Take photos/video and ask Jay over at SJ.
Write a Q&A telling Jay the problem, and tell her that you'll send her a email and attach a video so that she can see.

    14. I have never been happy with dolls that are strung with the elastic crossing at the hip.

    15. Crossing at the hips? The strings go straight from the S-Hook at the neck in their respective legs. There isn´t any crossing anywhere. Maybe that is the problem?

EDIT: YESSS!!! That solved the problem! When I crossed her strings above her thighs it finally worked! Thank you all so much for your help! I would never have figured it out otherwise! That´s why I love this community :love:love:love Finally I can enjoy her :dance

    17. Queen Amara, my Natalie 59 DPN came home!

Handling Cori for a month, I was shocked the 59 DPN feels so much smaller by comparison lol
I love the sculpted softness of her limbs, especially her hands.

The 64 MTN by contrast is leggy and fashion doll-like which I love for her broader shoulders, curvier frame, and of course the height difference!
