They just now posted pics of Theron and added that the sale starts on Dec 18th, which was yesterday. Yet the dolls can't be found on their website and there hasn't been any information about a delay. It's a bit weird lol

Woah, Theron in human form has serious Severus Snape vibes!

 

The dragons are up!! I really like Zeva. Something about her eye shape. And of course they again offer cocoa brown...I love that color and they keep bringing it back to tempt me, lol.

 

Is it just me? Or, does Zeva look very much like Natalie & Ayla

Is this why I feel sad over not being able to have it? I just got to keep telling myself that I can't have them all.

The SD dragons are up now.

I promised myself that I wouldn't buy any more large dolls but Zeva is VERY tempting!

 

Theron is very tempting but I'm gonna do my best to close down my doll buying for the year haha.

 

Well, I'm glad I passed on the 1/4s now. I do love dragons, and I think the textures were (again) very nicely done, but they weren't quite what I was looking for. I agree it would be nice if Zeva had both tail and wings, but honestly, I prefer just the tail to just the hip-wings Mive had. Hip-wings always seem like more of an accessory than actual limbs to me (which is fine from an artistic standpoint, of course). But I definitely appreciate that SJ actually gave the webbing of all the wings texture, instead of the smooth blankness we've gotten from some other companies. I also would have preferred if we got digitigrade legs, but all things considered, they don't look bad for being humanoid. And I absolutely love both of their faces! So... guess I have some thinking to do.

 

Then all three together could be sisters! That's actually such a cute idea when I think about it

I'm pretty partial to Theron's dragon design myself -- he's got a presence like no other! Sadly, he's not a luxury I want to commit to. I am, however, considering whether or not to get his human version to mod into the shell of a character. His clothes have the perfect vibe right off the bat at the very least.

 

I'm actually a bit disappointed that Zeva doesn't have wings. I personally like how the hip-wings look on Mive! Although I'm aware that she probably couldn't fly with them

 

For those of you that were disappointed that the human body Theorn option didn't have both head ordering options, if you message Jay you can order both heads on the human body. I guess there was a technical glitch that prevented offering all the needed options or something. Anyway, I messaged Jay and was able to order Human Theorn with both heads. Yay!!! I'm very excited. He's the first big doll I've ordered in probably 6 years or so, but he spoke to me too loudly to resist!

Well, I caved and ordered Zeva. I ordered her in the human form but dragon head with face up, cocoa brown skin. I splurged and ordered her outfit and wig too. She's officially the most expensive doll I've bought but I just love everything about her. It's gonna be a long wait. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else temps me for a while now

I decided I could squeeze in one more doll this year, so Zeva's on order! (Meant putting off another wig-etc. order I'd been planning, but that's fine. If my dolls were going to kill me for letting them sit around in temporary stuff, they'd have done so years ago. )

Grats to all the incoming dragons and their human counterparts! I was totally prepared - mentally and financially - to indulge in the christmas dolls, and ended up with buying nothing. Very tempted by Zeva, but in the end I couldn´t decide to spend the money. Well, let´s see what January will bring

 

@luluna - Oh, right. Had to be the dragon version! In cocoa brown with blushing because it was so beautifully done, and I can't possibly do anything that nice. The other idea was to get her in white and dye parts of her blue for an ice dragon, but it's not a true white, so I don't think I'd be pleased with the outcome. Congrats on Theron! Any thoughts on what you'll do with him yet?

@Ashemanu - I was hoping to see more in the Celestial line. And the Tarot theme too. And if we ever get a revisit to the dragons, I'd love to see more fantasy resin color options, but maybe I shouldn't be giving SJ the keys to my money.
