So, after a little over six months, Margot and Marina have finally arrived home.
Excellent BJDs! The new 65 Athletic body is very close to the Iplehouse HID.
In case anyone's interested, I've uploaded a comparison photo to Flickr. Since Marina can stand on her beautiful fin, she was allowed in the picture too ;-)

@JL_The_Lion Congrats on receiving Margot and Marina! And thanks so much for putting them all side by side for comparison, especially with Elle. Those are three beautiful dolls in one picture

 

Oh, we're all looking forward to their makeup.
It's sad that you had to wait 6+ months for a doll with no makeup.

 

Thank you very much! For me, the HID Elle is one of IH's most unattainable beauties and one of my greatest treasures in my collection. Even Margot's athletic physique can't compete. Maybe Marina's adorable fins

The delayed arrival is due to problems with the production of the new 65 ATH body. I contacted SartoriaJ shortly before the 6-month period expired and received this reply.
Due to production problems, Marina was also finished later. Both new resin beauties arrived together.

 

I finally got to take some quickie photos of my Doll of the Month Evelyn who arrived in late February, that I ordered back in June of 2025.

I made a post in the waiting room, so I am sorry if you have seen it already!

I got my 1/3 Marina body in at the beginning of last month and I am really in love with it. It wasn't a planned purchase, that's for sure, but I am so very happy I decided to do it anyways!

I hope its okay to show other heads here as I got mine as just a body. Pictured are Supia Heeji (blonde) and Golden Era Clara (brunette). Her intended head is still away to be painted and I have to find someone to send her tail to, but she is just so much fun!

 

@luluna Oh, she is stunning! I really love the mold! I think Evelyn works better in SD than MSD. She is so beautiful ... well, beauty takes time, doesn´t it? ^^ She really took her time!

@luluna Gorgeous girl, as always Evelyn has such a lovely old world face, if that makes any sense haha. I can see her as anything from a silent film star to a heroine in a gothic romance.

@Faerie_Soup Love to see the mermaid body, I remember you posting her in the waiting room! What's her intended head going to be?

 

My plans are for a Supia Esther! Hoping the resin is at least a moderate match, my Supia old 'normal', despite being kinda yellowed, is pretty close so it will likely be close enough that I can shrug it off IRL x)

 

@Faerie_Soup ooo love that you laid out a moodboard, what a good way to see if your ideas are gelling! Love the colors, def share her again when she's complete!

 

@Wittyilynamed - Thanks! Yes, she does have an old-world face! I love that she is different somehow...and that may be it and why!

 

Marina is just stunning! Love that the tail can stand vertically. Hoping I can find her second hand one day.

 

Marina is so beautiful. Makes me wish I was more into mermaids haha! I can't wait to see how people get her tail painted!

@luluna Ah, that answers my question about her from the waiting room thread Grats to your new girl!

I guess the new Tarot dolls will all be 1/3. I cannot imagine that they make all these intricate adornments for the smaller dolls.

 

That wig!! Absolutely gorgeous.

I wish I had hair like that IRL.
