Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Saran, my MTN Evelyn. To my neverending joy I discoverd that she can wear Souldoll Vito girl clothes. It´s a really good fit. I sold all my Vito girls long ago but held on to their clothes, now I am glad about that :)

    4. That’s this month’s collection up, fabulous outfits but again for the 1/3 sizes only :roll: which kind of makes the supposed 1/4 pictures all a lie when you think about it.

      Quite liking Elliot, the blank of that sculpt has a Henry Cavill edge to it, more flexible features….

      I personally am not that enamoured by the other boys, the faceups they have make them look like arrogant entitled rich boys, the kind who cause trouble wherever they go because Mamma and Papa will clean up after them. Quite apt for that time period really I suppose. I think my love of Period Dramas has soured my opinions lol

    5. I agree. Elliot is my favourite as well, and the outfits are amazing, as are many of the promo photos. Personally, I don't think they should be using the promo photos for the SD size to promote the MSD size. Yes, their makeup will be just as beautiful in the smaller size, but it's misleading showing the photos of the SD dolls in those fantastic outfits since they aren't available.

    6. OMG! I'm laughing at this because with one of the photos, of three of the guys together, I was thinking of that one game that compares three people. The one that starts with "Marry". (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say the game's name on here.)
      But, I was thinking, which these guys would my bjd choose if I asked them "M, F, K".

    7. I second this. I got caught out by ordering a 1/4 Jade with the outfit until I realised what the SD meant. Luckily Jay deleted the clothes part of my order and amended my layaway. I would have liked the outfit but it would have been massive and my sewing skills are non-existent.:pout:

    8. I third this and let’s be honest neither are the wigs or the accessories. It was during the Elves release that it dawned on me they were just using the same photos, I double checked and any hairs out of place, etc are identical……I mean technically it’s false advertising. At the very least it’s frustrating and disappointing as it’s not like there’s even many clothing or wig alternatives for that size on the website either and as they’re bigger than Iple and Raccoon trying to buy clothing elsewhere is practically a dead end especially fantasy or period outfits. Sorry for sounding ungrateful but as someone with no sewing skills who really wants to get one of their boys it’s one of the main factors that discourages me from pressing that ‘buy’ button :atremblin

Uses his quiet, shy boy appearance to lower defences and pretend he’s the good, respectable one then *bam* next thing you know you’re being shipped off to your estranged Aunt in the countryside for the remainder of your ‘confinement’ and he’s nowhere to be seen!

      Actually I think that three look like they’re auditioning for some 1980s New Romantic tribute band called Durandau Ballet, Antoine is on keyboards and Louis is definitely lead vocalist so he can pout and flick his hair, Andre’s probably drummer.

    9. Lol, I love the thought of them being in a band!!!

      I keep thinking Antoine looks like Westley in the Princess Bride - especially with that hairdo!!! So he's probably my favourite! :XD: But thankfully for the sake of my bank account, I'm not tempted by any of them, they're all lovely but not really anyone I want. I'll just continue to look forward to my Marie and Vanessa from the Versailles release arriving! I was really looking forward to this release too - I LOVE those outfits - but it was a relief I didn't actually want to get any of them, as it's hard to resist when you do!

    10. Elliot is the only one with a nice face up, imo. He reminds me alot of Jude though. His face up is the most natural of all, the others look like they have paint on their faces, which generates the bitchy look ;) The hair does the rest for them :lol:

      I wonder if Jay has completely given up on MSD clothing. Since he offers all his dolls now in MSD size he must have realized people want them. So why are no clothes for them? Maybe it´s too expensive. I really would have loved the Gemini priest clothes in MSD size.

      As to why they don't offer the same outfits in MSD size....
      Speaking from experience in making MSD size costumes, it would be way too difficult to try and source trims in the smaller size, and making the uniforms look the proper scale is not easy. All those collar layers would end up WAY too bulky because fabrics don't come in 1/4 scale thickness. I find they are already pushing the limits with the trims on their SD outfits. Plus, the smaller outfits are actually much harder to make, so would have to be even more expensive. Smaller does not mean cheaper. And there's already enough people complaining about how expensive the outfits are. But the truth is, you get what you pay for.

    12. Thank you for that insight @MB Lilac, it makes a lot of sense especially with all of the brocade and trimming.

      @morganatron oh yeah, you’re right, he does look a bit like him.

      I did think that about Elliot too initially @Ashemanu, his chin is less angular and to my eyes he’s like a slightly softer version.
      Really tempted.

I keep taking him in and out of my cart..................I'm already paying on layaways for MSD Elf Leo and MSD Vanessa, so do I really need another doll?????????? No, but I sure would like to have him, lol.
