I totally agree with you @Loganberry The dates are in the notice directly below the names of the dolls. The end point is for all December 14th. So at least there won´t be any rush for the first two. And I feel stressed too. I have other things I want to buy, which are delayed and delayed and delayed, just because I MIGHT like one of the new dolls and want to buy it. Which is of course totally my own fault, I could just say okay, then I don´t buy ANY dolls. Yeah, if that would be so easy ...
@Ashemanu thanks for the info. I really need to look over these things more carefully . Yeah im the same with delaying other purchases to wait to see what SJ has to offer. And I definitely could just buy something else and deal with not getting whatever SJ are offering but I keep not doing that
I was hoping for the dramatic dragon as well. I really wanted to see the wings and horns ! I loved what they did with the tarot theme for the SD-sized dolls !!!
I don't know if I'd jump at either of them (SartoriaJ bodies can take *effort* to pose, per my friend's experience) but I'm still terribly curious to see what the anthro dragon dolls look like. The sketch gives a taste, but it's not the same as proper sculpt photos. Also, because it's driving me nuts: which actor is Galdren sculpted to look like? (Edited to get the dang sculpt name right.)
My guess is Jacob Elordi. Ignore the blond wig, the facial features kinda match My wallet is safe this time, nothing is really for me here. I like Crumble the most out of everyone, congrats to people who got it
I thought the dragon versions would be for sale too meanwhile? Maybe they flew away ... I love Mive´s dress and Galdren´s wig. Oh I miss the times when you could buy the outfits separately!
I agree about missing the times when you could buy outfits separately...especially the MSD sizes as they never offer many historical outfits for them.
Dragon previews are up! They'll be released this Friday! They look absolutely gorgeous!! Horns, scales, claws, and wings!! I love that they chose cocoa brown resin as the undertone for their purple body blushing. Sadly, Mive doesn't get the same cool arm scales detailing as Galdren.
They really look lovely. But they won´t be for me, I think. I don´t like Mive´s and Galdren´s molds, and there would be so much hassle with clothes and wigs. And I guess they will be extremely expensive with face up, body blushing and so on. Will be even worse for the 1/3 dolls ... well, I will be waiting for them, if there will be any
I kind of wish they had tails..... The little teaser snippet of Mives eyes with the faceup looks like there is a lot of sparkle happening. Good for me, I won't be tempted to order with faceup It's seeming more and more like Mive might need to come home to me.
Dragon-Mive is up! She might not be for me, but she is truly beautiful! The skin color, the face up, the overall styling ... there went a lot of work and love into her She really is worthy of a Christmas event
I do find it a little bit odd that Galdren gets wings where you would usually expect wings and Mive gets wings above her butt.
Its like morrigan and jedah wings from vampire savior I'm really happy with the result and the feet being like high heels is cool. I'm happy with 1/4 because I don't think they need much clothes on
Face up and styling is perfect, it's Sartoriaj But I feel like they could have done more to make the doll look like a dragon. She has small horns, wings and feet. But what about a tail? It lacks more dragon features, imho. And maybe, bigger wings? Good example of what I am thinking about is Loong Soul black dragon, he is well done, very dragony.
Well dang, after how cool last years winter dolls colors were, I'm a little disappointed that the special color for these is just coco brown. The purple blushing is nice but a purple doll would have appealed to me more.. I'm still not convinced how the wings attach. If it was just magnets, they wouldn't need an opening in the vest/dress back. But there is no mention of a special peg system or anything. The photo of the wings certainly appears to have pegs with magnets. It's interesting that galdrens dragon face is slightly different than his human....mive appears the same....am I missing a detail on Mive's that makes her two heads different? (besides the forehead horns)
@skyealloway You are not missing something on Mive, I think. I cannot see any difference either. Galdren´s dragon face appeals to me far more than the human one. I just wonder how those wigs will hold on their dragon heads, without additional measures to make them stay.
