I've decided to rename my Yabi - his new name is Ansel. x'D I feel like it fits his character much better.

Of course, @rex! Thank you so much. He's on a Soom Thera body, from the latest Little Gem FCE. It's not a stark white, but rather creamy. I think I lucked out with the match. xD

@rex I have a KDF body for my Char, and the match is pretty good! Though I think the head has yellowed.. perhaps Luts WS would match?

Just got some preview photos in from my faceup artist, and WOW I am blown away. Can't wait to show her here!

 

Hi guys,

I got my Yabi head home at the beginning of the year and already posted photos of the head together with the intended MNF A-line Body. But I had bad bonding issues and put the head up for sale on flickr and locally more than one time. In the meantime I bought a MNF head for the body (really happy with this decision and the head).

In the end I wanted to give the two of us another try and got a Soom LG body with blossom breasts pre-owned. It's the new whiter Soom cream white and really pretty in person. And surprisingly: I am so happy with this hybrid right now!!! Hope to share some photos soon. The resin match is not that bad as the head will get a FU anyway.

Soooo~ you guys were right in the first place: a MNF body did not worked out for me.

btw: Love everybodies ideas and what you made out of your Flower&Junior heads *___*

 

@Lythtis, that's wonderful! I'm glad you were able to find a body that worked for you!

I just got some pics back of the finished faceup on my Mizi. The artist is also making me a set of 3 matching eyes in red/purple. ^_^

Thank you both so much! She's making some special 14mm ones to fit her eyewells, but the pupils will be much smaller.
Definitely different than any other doll I have so far. XD
Can't wait to get her here so I can start her wig too. Wish I had the money for her body already, but hopefully this year.

 

My girl arrived today! Her wig and body are temporary, but her eyes were specially made by the faceup artist for me. ^_^
She did such a great job, I love how she turned out. Hopefully I can get her body this year, but I'll at least start working on her wig soon.

 

@Beansproutmomo, wow, wow, wow! She's absolutely gorgeous! Those eyes are stunning and I adore her faceup. She certainly looks beautiful with the wig she has on...what sort of wig are you planning.

I'm planning to make her a black alpaca wig, in a loose style that can be pulled up into a messy bun or ponytail. I wanted her to look lazy and sleepy. hehe

I have a Soom Rosette body coming that I'll try her on for now, but she'll get a DC body eventually. Right now, she's using my Aquariusdoll body (in tan sorry so it's a bad match, lol) The fit was good, for those interested in a hybrid. I think the Mizi head could just use some s-hook notches inside her head. I'll probably carve those in soon.
