1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Sculpts you love (but will probably never get) - 2

Apr 23, 2017

    1. There are a lot of 1/3 dolls I love to look at but will never buy because it's just not the size I'm interested in. If any of them were made in a mini size without baby-fying the faces? Gimme  It's never gonna happen so my wallet is safe though.

    2. Dollshe Saint. Besides all the issues with the Dollshe company, Saint's sculpt just doesn't fit in with the aesthetic of the rest of my dolls. I love the sculpt though, it's gorgeous.

    3. I just discovered DreamingDoll Roi, and boy is she cute! Just look at those puffy cheeks! :chibi Very unique sculpt too, I don't think I've seen anything similar on the market. But: she doesn't fit with any of the doll concepts I've got rattling around in my brain, and I'm too broke to buy a doll just to see if it works out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    4. Devotion Doll's female muscle body, the Vigorous 75F. Gorgeous, gorgeous sculpt! Unfortunately, I passed on pre-ordering her because of her size as my 65 cm girl on heels barely fits into my glass-door bookcase -- and I wasn't ready to remove yet another shelf. In addition, without a desirable head sculpt to go with it, my interest in wanting to shell a decades' old OC with her fizzled out pretty quickly.

    5. Hahaha oh how the turntables - I am now very interested in 1/3 size and wish I could upscale some of my minis! You truly never know how your ideas of your collection change in just 2 years :sweat

    6. Pretty much anything made by Bardo Research, I get tempted every time she opens a preorder for any doll. It didn't help that she's finally sculpted her first male doll called The Engineer - he is soooooo cute :love

I actually once had a BR doll - Omi-Kopto, she was 18cm tall and exquisite. But through that I discovered that tinies are just not for me, so with a heavy heart I sold her. I don't think BR will ever make dolls taller than around fashion mini size, so even though they tug at my heartstrings, I have to deliberately look away and keep on closing the browser tabs. It's gonna get harder if she continues to make boys... :sorry
