Sculpts you love (but will probably never get)

I have been suuuuuper, super lucky to come across Dollspirit Hoya and Lovelyhouse Shincho, which were two of those, "OMG I will never find that doll ever :C" dolls. ;p But Dollish U-Me is a different story. Sigh. I set my dolly standards too high.

 

I want a L-bi but with the expense and my inability to save it seems like I'll never get one. >:

 

My dolls all have to fit my characters and their universe. I decided that I would get ONE "off character" doll for my collection and I chose Cuprit. I LOVE Soom's Amber, Angelheim's Ice Queen, and Souldoll's Shiva, but none of them have a place in my collection, and so far Cuprit holds the centerpiece spot and won't let it go!

The only way I would get these other dolls is if someone else gave them to me as a gift--and that would be one hell of a gift! So I'm sure I can file them in my "admire from afar" category

 

I've loved Iplehouse Chase for a long time now; I've always imagined he would be my Aubrey. But there was always something preventing me from actually going for him. And now that I've decided on another doll to be my Aubrey, I've been really trying hard not to look at owner pix or his Iplehouse webpage -- sometimes I end up succumbing but am hanging on to my decision. Firmly. Really. Totally succeeding here. Uh-huh. *lol*

 

Many of the Soom monthly tinies, espeicaly Bygg and Beyla; Gorgeous little dolls but they are just too small for me to live with.

Volks Rosen Maiden Shinku and Suiguitou, they are beautifull; but at the prices they go for and the relative difficulty of tracking them down I will probably never end up owning one or both of them.

 

Sadly there are many Soom dolls that I want that I'll probably never have. At the price he's selling for right now, the biggest culprit on my list is Sard. I just love his face... there's also a little msd guy by Angell Studio that I fell in love with - Hua Lian, but he's sold out and I haven't seen a single one anywhere, so it's unlikely that I'll ever track him down.

 

VOLKS Williams and Reisner (SD17)... >.< I'm saving for my own VOLKS army, but these two, I will NEVER have.

 

I think it's character, cost and size for me i want a mold that suits one of my characters is about 60 cm and isn't too expensive or doesn't fit in with others i love dollshe bernard, DoT homme ducan, JID tatianna and some others but they would all either seem out of place, be too expensive, be too short or simply do not fit any of my characters it's a shame really...

 

I love these dolls, but will probably never own one....

Soom Sabik - Proper fell in love with this guy, but the uncertainty of the MA line and lack of suitable clothing are my only reasons not to get him.

Zaoll Luv/Muse - So many owners do completely wonderful things with these dolls, but I can't get to grips with her being proportional, but short!

Minifee Shushu - Again, many beautiful Shushu's out there, but she looks a bit too cool and calculating for me...she'll probably do things to me while I'm sleeping!

Just these three are the ones, I always look at in the gallery and 'ooh' and 'aah' over, but will not be mine.

 

For me it's the EID guys and Jessica. I just love their sculpts. I have very few male dolls, but those EID boys are sooooooooo hot!!! I just don't like messing with the bigger dolls. MSD is big enough for me!

 

A few I love but will probably never get

Zaoll Luv - the shortness irks me a bit even though she is so lovely.

Glorydoll Lucy - Love her, but I have no character for her.

Iplehouse Tatiana - She was actually the first doll I fell in love with, but she's too small.

DOD Shall - She's a fantastic sculpt but her face is too round, I know that's a weird thing to comment on, but I don't think she would fit in with the characters I need.

 

Dollmore Ipsae ;_; it's never gonna happen. I'm far too cheap, heh...

 

About the only one that I've fallen so hard for, but probably will never own, is a Volks F-21 MSD girl. I know that it's the do it all yourself, perfect doll made just for you, that sort of thing, but... the price on an FCS just makes me balk. I could get another MSD off my wishlist and everything to finish her for that much... (Minifee Ryeon)

Yeah... she's so pretty, though! I love that little smile!

 

Iplehouse Yur and Akando are on my wish list. Lots of other things in life will have to come first, though, so they may never end up with me. We'll see.

 

I really want a MSD F-18, but driving down to SoCal to get an FSC is way out of my price range for one doll + travel expenses at the moment =/

 

I really love the look of Soom's Idealian this month (Pangen), but I've promised myself that I'm not buying anything over 65cm. They're just too large for me to imagine having enough storage space!

 

While I don't usually prefer anthro-esque dolls myself, I'd love to have a Soom Breccia, she's gorgeous! I love foxes, but since she's A) No longer available (I don't have MP access yet, so I'm not sure how often she appears on there, and also how quickly she gets sold), and B) Doesn't fit any character I have (and thus, I'd have no real reason to justify getting her), I don't see her in my future dolly plans.

and while I'm on the subject of foxxies, Pipos Bao is another little fox I'd love to have but alas, he(she?) too is no longer available (to my knowledge anyway), and I don't have any characters that would fit Bao either. *sadface*

 

A volks Amy Ayase. *sobs* Just so rare and so not getting.
Then probably a vampire Lu-Wen from Luts..
And a Soom Coquina. Such a gorgeous face!

There are a few dolls I'll likely never get, for one reason or another.

DoT Calla Much as I love her sculpt, even the nude doll is pricey for a non-limited SD. This is the same reason I'll probably never own a Peakswoods doll.

Zaoll Luv I absolutely adore these petite dolls... except those awful flipper-hands! They're flat and expressionless, and with the strange height and scale I imagine getting different hands for a Zaoll would require more effort than I'm willing to exert for one doll.

Souldoll Shiva (with 4 arms) Oddly enough, this isn't so much because of the fact that she has 4 arms but a question of funds. Again... $800 for a nude doll is a lot. *A*

Soom MDs Any of them, really. The one MD I ever truly loved was Vesuvia, and while one pops up every once in a while on the marketplace, I'm not comfortable spending over $1k on a doll. The closest I would ever get would be parts from old MDs... I'd love to have Topaz's head, for example. Or Heliot's hooves, or Vesuvia's tail piece (though matching something to it would be a nightmare).

Oasisdoll Yaoyue Pretty much for the same reason as Calla. Plus, I don't really have a character for her, though she's gorgeous and I will always enjoy seeing what others do with her.

 

ooh quite a few I would love...but will never be able to get (unless I win the lottery lol)
