Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Mine are 5th Motif Venitu and JID Ryan.

      Ryan was discontinued last year, and I had the opportunity to buy one from somebody local but I kinda freaked out and ended up backing out of the layaway.

      Venitu, it's the price. I don't think I could bring myself to spend $700+ on a hunk of resin, no matter how beautifully sculpted. That, and my comfort price range is sky $350 or less. But maybe things will change once I get out of retail...

    4. Iplehouse Luo, Ringdoll Kay, Angel Fantasy Vent. Vent and Kay I could get for like $120 a pop just as heads. They're not impossible price-wise but at this point I just really don't need them. I just kind of want them. :P Luo that's a whole other thing. Even his head is just plain out of price range for me and buying him on his own body? That's an impossible dream, that's for sure. I still covet him madly when I see one, but I just can't rationalize him. He's too much money for me.

    5. The entire Iplehouse SID line even I love all the sculpts. I think their body/clothing size would drive me crazy.

    6. For me, it's mostly due to availability and not price. I like a lot of older, harder-to-find dolls. My top five are:

      1. Dollstown Susie (the 2005 release)
      2. DollnDoll Shade
      3. Dollmore Ray
      4. CustomHouse Selene
      5. Happydoll Margo

      Price-wise, it's a mostly Iplehouse, Doll Chateau, and Volks dolls. Love 'em but can't see myself shelling out the $$$.

    7. Granted, I'm a newbie who only just ordered her first dolls ever. I'm sure I'm not the best at tracking down dolls. I haven't even made enough posts to gain access to DoA's marketplace.

      That said, I don't feel good about my chances for ever finding Doll Chateau's Debbie and Caroline on their conjoined twin body, since they were discontinued before I got into the hobby. They're so gorgeous and unusual, though.

    9. Volks claud the beast in shadow skin. There's one on the marketplace that i keep staring at but I can't afford the $1250 price tag...plus I should try to finish up my other dolls first.

      also the mechanism angel corvi. I had him once and could never find clothes for him or else I'd own him still. Souldoll chantel. Again I had her and she was gorgeous! But my husband soured her for me and i made a really horrible trade :/.

    14. Dollzone Moment or Anson (or both!) From the moment I saw them I was in love. I was devastated to learn they weren't made anymore (this was back when I first got into the hobby, so I had no idea dolls could be limited). One day I hope I'll get lucky.

      I don't have problem creating characters for my dolls, but some of the sculpts I fell in love with don't exist anymore T_T but I also hope I get lucky one day.

    16. I really like the look of anthros, but I'm not sure that I would like having one.

      I have some dolls that I wish i could purchase, but are no longer available (such as Or-Doll Anderl), but I guess I'm a little to optimistic, because I don't like thinking that I will "probably never get" them.

    18. Pretty much any of the Dollmore Trinity girls. They are all so gorgeous, but their price point is far beyond my reach and, of course, availability for the older ones is pretty much zero unless you're the luckiest bastard alive.

    19. The Doll Chateau dolls. Their joints are the bane of my life. Looking at the DOA threads, their posing never seems to improve. Then, if the body sculpt is marvellous, they match it to a head I just wouldn't buy, and, if the head is marvellous, they match it to a body that just isn't up to scratch in the whole or in details (extensions! I am looking at you!). I feel they should consider offering alternative lower legs/arms, and propose the extensions welded to them somehow. Not everyone is fond of the 'lazy vegetal look' for every sculpt.
