Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I adore Soom Sard, 5th Motiv Venitu, Minifee Mika and Iplehouse Felix! I'm definitely not getting any of those though, my family is large enough and I must really not expand any more... uhhh uhhh... yeah.

I read the original post of this, so I can't tell if people are talking about not being able to get a doll out of rarity/lack of money, or liking a sculpt but not actually wanting/needing it...but I'll share my bit of both! ....Since my are like.. one or the other or both at the same time. @ __ @

      Of sculpts that I really like, but have no plan of bringing home (as of yet):

      Basically anything April Story! I just adore their sculpting style and aesthetic but can't bond enough to any of them to actually purchase..
      The Soom Dia sculpt in any incarnation, because it's basically my most favorite sculpt ever. I do have character concepts for the sculpt, but I am/was fulfilling them using 1/6 playline dolls and it'd take some mental transitioning for me to get used to the idea of having them as such bigger versions!
      Practically everything Soom The Gem, I love ogling them fantasy dolls. :aheartbea

      As for dolls like I'd like to get but will probably never afford/find:

      Soom The Gem Hornblend, because I love centaurs and I think he's just amazing! I don't really know how much I'd be able to bond with him, though..
      Soom The Gem Azur is also really cool, I really liked him when I first started getting into BJDs!
      Apodoll's Ceryop and Dablyop are also lovely! (Sorry, I'm... not sure if they're on topic or not ;; ) I'm not sure what I would do for them character/face up wise, though..

      Ahhh I'm sure I'm missing a lot, I'm terrible at keeping track of all the dolls I like, and I also didn't count the ones that I technically will probably have a hard time getting but am determined to track down, ehe.

      With only 20(I think?) of them out there I don't think I'll ever get the chance OR the money to buy one. There is a WTB ad on the market place for $1000 or more.... So, definitely out of my league both financially and because of the rarity.

    4. I have two that I probably will never own: The Fairyland event doll Sienna and the Soom event mute/silence sprite. I love both but with them not being available on the website and only through the marketplace... I doubt it will ever happen.

    5. I may be alone in this, but l'Armoire de DanDan Harlan. Of all the freaking things, Two-face...right when I started converting certain Batman villains into dolls (like, to the day. I'd want him for the crazy timing alone!). But he's 1/3, not 1/4 *sobs*
      So I won't get him because he's not the right scale. But if he was I'd have already hit the button. So much want.....

I even have the same reason as you; if he were 1/4, I'd probably be scrambling to order him up just for the fun of making a Phantom of the Opera doll (it's one of my all-time favorite novels).

      Cyclop by Aileendoll, it was perfect for a chara and I missed it. I hope they rerelease or someone other company do another cyclop just as cute.

    10. --- So. Many. Volks YoSDs... particularly Neon.

      --- A bunch of 1/3 sculpts, like Asleep Eidolon Cordelia, Musedoll Ciel, and Dollmore Lisa Rubik (Lisa's Red Fantasy LE makes me swoon!). I've owned SD-sized dolls in the past but they are just too big for my tastes.

      Looks like I'm in the same boat as [MENTION=26466]VampireAngel13[/MENTION] and [MENTION=27163]vicemage[/MENTION]; I love l'Armoire de DanDan Harlan but wish the sculpt were 1/4!

    13. Mostly I want SD-builds. But since I narrowed my 'hunting grounds' to MSD I'll stay with my dolls for now.
      Mostly I just like to look at dolls and admire them and the people working on them.

      One sculpt I really want to have (but will never buy) is Raymond 70 cm SD by DOLLZONE. I really fell for this guy.

      I do like Harlan from L'armoire de Dandan a lot, but it doesn't go in this topic 'cause I may buy it before the end of the preorder :XD:

    20. The sculpt I am obsessing about right now is Fifth Motif Venitu on the Timeless body. He is gorgeous!!! Of course, I find him after the line has been discontinued and there is little to no hope to ever have him unless I can catch him on the secondary market. Sigh!
