Just had a thought: is anyone in this thread coming to the convention in Austin? If so, I would love to meet you for real.
*sigh* I've gone to this little convention three times (this will be the fourth time) and I have been the only person there with babyfairies. I usually help with registration and I take Root with me, sometimes tethered to my person with a ribbon so she can't get away. I keep hoping that someone will say, "OMG, I have babyfairies too!". My friend Kat from Ft.Worth had a Yomo last year, but no little ones. Bah!
spampy, those two could almost be sisters! But the size difference in the feet is hysterical!!! Nell, you are a growing girl and pretty active! It takes a lot of energy (especially the kind you get from sugary treats!) to keep up with frogs, so you just eat away! Sorry, linakauno, Texas is a long ways from here! I hope this year someone does turn up for you who has baby fairies though!

Oh, can't wait to see, imajica! That is crazy that those two are basically the same and yet so unalike! I've already warned spampy that once our Yogi gets here, we are hopefully going to do some new wardrobe for her and Poppy - it's time to let some of the other dolls wear the Kelly stuff for a while! We already have one cute little outfit on the way for Nameless Yogi. (Not a clue what her name is - she is just going to have to tell me. And if she is anything like other Secretdolls **cough** Persons **cough**, that probably won't be much of a problem!)
You know this sounds terrible...but the other kids keep calling her "Bug". They mean it in the kindest, most endearing way though... I'm afarid it might stick!
Bug is a perfect name for her Spampy! The picture of her and Riley just cracks me up. And of course, Nell does have to have the first piece of cake. I want to see those froggy clothes up close. But that would mean Nell has to put down the cake...
Darkstar, have you received a shipping notice for your dolls yet? I hope you got the wig thing straightened out. Did someone here mention that, a couple weeks after you order, you can ask Secretdoll for a shipping date? I thought I read that--somewhere......

Because I added a black wig to the order, now the shipping date is August 14! Does it really take 2 weeks to make a wig for one of these dolls?! My order would have shipped this past Tuesday if not for that.
Well, I know the wigs are all hand made, human hair, and having seen them they look pretty labor intensive. But I am sorry it pushed your order back! I ordered Dazzle2 on July 18, and the wigs just a few days later, and they told me it would add time to my order-but they didn't say how MUCH time. But in the grand scheme of dolls, the wait time with Secretdoll seems much shorter than with other companies.
Mail came, and we got a new outfit I bought for Dazzle--I am thinking she will be a ballerina, but of course Thea threw a fit and insisted on trying the outfit on. She says she doesn't like it, she doesn't think the leotard is especially flattering--I tired to tell her it wasn't the OUTFIT, it was HER, but you know how that goes!!
OMG!! Where did you get that--it is perfection. I love that tutu, and it does look so Thea. Now I want one, just because. Edited---to squee over the slippers, just noticed them!
I got it on Ebay, I was able to just buy the outfit--but I think it came in a Kelly/Barbie set where they had matching ballet dresses. If you do a search for "Kelly Ballet" you should find several outfits like this. Edit--yes, it is in the Kelly Barbie RECITAL set.
