AWWWWWWWWWWWW, you guys are too much........ i love my fairy dust, and i can feel the healing power already. yesterday's treatment was the "bad one", but i feel surprisingly well this morning......... could it be? yes, i think it is...... magic fairy dust....

OH MY GOSH!! Secretdoll replied to me, she is sending my Dazzle on Aug 10!! She is just finishing my black wig. I never thought it would be so fast--what a great company! Happy Dolly Dance...............
Congratulations, Jenny! I've still got a week's wait for shipping. I'm getting restless now - want my dollies!!! (I think that it's because I wanted them for so long before I even ordered that it feels like I've been waiting forever!)
Darkstar, I hope yours ship earlier--sounds like the wigs were the holdups, she said something about having trouble with the black hair. I tried to copy/paste her message but it wouldn't let me.

Whoopee!! Dazzle is on her way home, with a guaranteed delivery of next Monday! WOW is all I can say, she told me she would ship the 10th and she is exactly on time. Thea and I can get things ready over the weekend, and maybe sew some clothes--although we don't know yet what her personality will be. I do know one thing tho--with the rotten service I get from our mail carriers, I am going to call the post office early Monday morning and have them hold her package so I can pick it up--I do NOT trust them!

Whew! The convention is over, so things can settle down here finally. The girls are furious with me for not taking them, so today I let them play with the giant prop I built for the doll display. Here they are on the balcony of the palazzo. I promised them a photoshoot soon with props that are more their size.
No change in order status yet! She said the 14th which is Saturday so I am keeping my fingers crossed! Maybe they will be here by the end of next week!

I built a Venetian palazzo set for the doll convention last weekend because the theme was "Carnivale". Here's a photo someone took of it with flash so it looks very light colored, but actually the color with the girls is more accurate. It had lights behind it so that the windows glowed and the chandelier lit up. It looked much prettier in the dim ballroom of the hotel without the flash.
WOW! Oh WOW! I would say more but I have to pick my jaw up off the floor. Oh, that is stunning, how I would kill to have that--and you MADE it? There goes my jaw again.... And please tell who is the little blonde cutie-girl in the bottom left corner? She is adorable, is there another picture of her?
This one is a little better. I'm not sure who the little doll is. People had started to drift in and were putting their dolls on the display tables. I'll look through the other photos to see if I can find a better one of her. I like making props, but this one is huge and is standing in my living room. I'm trying to find a place big enough to keep it out of the way; not easy in my little house. lol
