Hi, Miss Ally, I just help out a little with whatever needs to be done, but other than that, I admire other people's dolls and shop from the vendors. One year I made some hats to sell in the salesroom. Here are the girls playing in the boat this afternoon. They're pretending to be on the Grand Canal, I think.
Actually, I think it would be about right for Fairyland Chic dolls if I had some. It would be like a really big palace with high ceilings for them. Hm. Maybe someday!

OK, this is amazing to me--I found the flight number that Dazzle is coming in on, it was on the EMS tracking page. I Googled it, and I almost fell off my chair--I got a very detailed flight plan, and the plane is due to land in Chicago today! So even with customs, Dazzle could be home tomorrow or Friday!! Ahh the wonders of the internet.............
I am excited--I almost didn't order her, since all my dolls are children and Dazzle is so much more mature looking. But I kept looking at Cossette, and the more I looked at her the less "mature" she looked--if that makes sense. I think, like all the baby fairies, she has a face that is timeless and can be whatever you make of her. Instead of "attitude", I see a more dreamy girl, one who is a bit head-in-the-clouds. But of course, SHE may have other ideas!
OOH she has arrived in Chicago and is in customs! I will have to call the PO in the morning if she is here, and have them hold the package so I can pick it up, as I am going to the Dr in the afternoon and won't be home. It would actually be better is she came Friday, but I'll work with it!
Dazzle got held up in customs for some reason--I am hoping they did NOT open her. Last time customs opened a package it was a Lati doll, and they tore off her bubble wrap, removed her headcap, and just THREW her back into the box like a 99 cent toy. (Thank goodness for the big padded Lati boxes.) I hope my little one was not treated to such abuse! But anyway, she will be here tomorrow, which works out WAY better for me. And it is supposed to finally cool off, so we can play comfortably all weekend!
Dazzle is at my local PO--but the jerks won't answer the phone, so I can't tell them to hang on to her so I can go fetch her! The way they are, they won't deliver her until tomorrow...... OK, done ranting. Wish there was a better way to get our dolls.
OMG you guys--I got her (went to the PO and demanded the package.) I had NO idea she has a faceplate!! And with the two wigs I bought, she included headbacks, so I can attach the wigs to the headbacks and just easily change her look! I am THRILLED-- but the question is, did anyone else get a doll like this, or is this something new? Thanks Lina and Kay---I am going to play with her other headbacks and see what other looks I like for her. She tells me she is a Russian Ballet dancer--actually she said "Rooshian"---and she tells me her name is Natalia. Thea actually seems to like her!
Congrats Jenny, she is stunning...... my Dazzle has a faceplate too, i never noticed until you mentioned it.....*shrugs* can't wait to see more pics of your "tiny dancer"

Darkstar, I am SURE they will ship when she said they would. I am thrilled with the customer service of Secretdoll, and I would never hesitate to order from them again. I bet you will have a tracking number in the morning!
I just checked my order status and I am On Shipping!!! So I guess they went out a day early (I think we are about 12 hours behind them). Hope I get a tracking number, but at least I know they are on their way now! Time to start to really get excited. I think this is the worst part of the wait, when you know they are on their way!
