LOL! Now, how to ship bodies to Australia so no one will become suspicious! Pie and Madge's little dock is certainly beginning to draw the wild things! Dragonflies and ducks and incredibly small monkeys in boats with even tinier hitchhikers!

The last thing I saw last night before I turned off the light was Root staring at me from a little green bathtub I have on a shelf by my bed. I think I heard her say "Where's my summer photoshoot?!!" as I closed my eyes.

 

Guess you better get the camera out, linakauno! Now that there are three of them here, I'm not sure I'd want to upset them. They may be small, but I bet that when they have their minds set on something, nothing better interfere with it!

 

I think you might be right, DarkStar. Tomorrow first thing, I'm going to hunt for the box that has their costumes in it. All my doll stuff got scrambled around while I was getting ready for the convention and their box has gone missing. They need proper attire because it is a summer vacation shoot, unless, of course, they are willing to skinny dip. Petal might be willing to pose in the buff, but Antheria is too modest and Root refuses to go anywhere unless she is properly dressed and also has cute accessories. These girls!

 

Yay summer vacation shoot!! Cant wait . I adore your trio , especially little Root.

LOL! Oh, what a great pool - "movie star tan" just slayed me! And the little drinks with the parasols and flowers in them. What great stuff these girls have! Guess I am going to be expected to step up my game now for Poppy and Hyacinth (well, that's what she is currently answering to, but I can't help but feel she is a bit disappointed that there aren't more syllables to it).

 

Thanks, DarkStar. I've been dying to do a photoshoot with that little pool and thought I might also make one with my tiny Elfdolls, but it just got too hot outside. For the light to be right, I had to be in the sun and I was pouring with sweat. The things I do for dolls!

 

You got the light just perfectly, linakauno! I love the shade and sun coming through the trellis and the way the water reflects the sunlight! I am rather envious of those girls!

 

WONDERFUL!! That pool is amazing. Where ever did you find it. Love all the accessories, the bag of beach games, books, suntan lotion. SO real and all placed to perfection. I love the shadow on the bottom of the pool and that floating ball. Made my day, I wish you posted photoshoots more often, I love what you do.

 

Thanks so much, Imajica. My eyes fell on that little pool in a toy store and I had to have it instantly. There is a great advantage to having an eight year old grandson, because I am always in the boy toy aisles trying to get him to hurry up and decide. That little pool is a miniature skate-board accessory. It was grey, but I painted it swimming pool aqua so I could float baby fairies in it. Someday I think I will build a doll house and have it in the back yard.

 

Oh MY--those are the MOST wonderful pics! What lucky little girls you have, Linakauno! Props and accessories are lacking in my house, because I have 5 VERY NAUGHTY cats who like to steal small items and play hockey with them!

 

Thank you, Jenny. I just have one enormous dog who isn't even curious about the dolls. Snacks, though...he can hear the paper rustling on a bag of chips on the other side of the house in his sleep and the next thing I know, he is at my elbow, wanting a bite.

Thanks, PrincessStarburst. I started out in the house with that photoshoot, but the pool began to leak a little, so I had to take it all outside and start over.

 

Oh, sweet little Kizzy, what a darling. Love her little caterpillars--hope Nell's frogs don't eat them! Nell, I love your little dock and wee lilypad of monkeys. Imajica, you are another wonder with your doll displays. The ripples on the water--brilliant!
Linakauno those swimming pool photos are awesome! The light, the shadows, the perfect props--and that POOL! Oh my, those photos are perfection.
Jenny, do tell, how are Thea and Natalya getting along. No great clash of egos yet?
Darkstar, how are your Babyfairies, does your Dazzle boy have a name yet? He is so cute, I have Cosette here ogling him, if I don't watch her she may mail herself to be with "Kurt"

Kizzy, we don't see near enough of you! And how cute you are, all dressed in your summer clothes.

Thea is quite in awe of her "big sister", she loves to watch her practice her dance. Natalia offered to show Thea some dance moves, but Thea said "oh no--I don't want to sweat!" Girl after my own heart! HOWEVER--ahem--Thea is NOT aware that another realpuki Soso will be joining our family, and I have been afraid to tell her! I don't think she will come until October so I have time to break the news. Hopefully this one will not be so antagonistic as Butterbean was. Whenever I go visit the friend who adopted Bean, Thea refuses to go with me. Can't say I blame her!

 

YEA KIZZY! Its about time she took a stand against all the preferences shown Nell (even her OWN bedroom HA!). Moms should NOT play favorites

I just love Kizzy's colorful caterpillar outfit! Her hair almost has a blue sheen to it in the photos. She's so adorable (tan baby fairies ROCK!)
