Oh, that is just amazing! You really did think of everything, Jenny! Nell looks the perfect princess, down to the adoring subjects (well, except perhaps for Gervais who still seems to be smarting from that knightly "tap"). Just gorgeous!

Oh, for heaven's sake! Nell you are the Queen, you have now surpassed being a mere princess with that amazing dress! Love the jewels on the hat and the wee frog details, and that scepter, oh goodness, oh my! Jenny I shudder to even think what Thea has planned for you in order to outdo Nell and this marvelous outfit!

 

LOL, Thea is happy being my model right now--she hasn't complained or asked for anything! I think she loves feeling important. When I pick her up to go upstairs to work, and tell hubby I am going to sew, she says "WE are going to sew!" I don't think he can hear her tho, his hearing is not so good.

Thank you to everyone for the compliments on Nells outfit--it turned out exactly as I envisioned it. It was SO fun to make. The frogs on the cape are cell phone charms. The scepter is a large needle with beads glued onto it, and of course the frog at the top was the crowning touch. I found him on Etsy.

Nell, Nell, Nell...anymore froggly and you will turn into a frog!!! Beautiful outfit and so detailed too! She does just glow in green doesn't she?

I do like frogs and toads...they're such helpful and beneficial creatures, we try to encourage them to live around our gardens.

 

Here we go! Some things that they got from their Auntie Spampy (jeans and Kurt's t-shirt) and nubanded on Etsy. (They got a lot of cute stuff - I better not hear any whining for a while!)

 

Oh LORDY they're cute in their new duds!!!! I'm in love with Kurt's outfit and he does his namesake proud

 

I have to start watching more carefully - Kurt has had some fantastic outfits and I think his namesake should have at least one or two for when he wants to dress up!

Darkstar, very fashionable trio you have there! They look like a little rock group.

 

Well, the nubanded pants aren't exactly a perfect fit for baby fairies (while Spampy's jeans are amazing on Hyacinth!) so they do look like some strange little rock group that can't quite decide who their audience is! I have to make a skirt to go with Hy's top - it came with one of those big mini pullip kitty hats, because it was supposed to be a short dress and hat - um, nubanded dresses do NOT make good baby fairy dresses! So she'll be getting a furry pink kitty skirt too. And I swear, new baby fairy feet are bigger than the old ones! Hy can wear regular Kelly shoes without them flopping off and actually has trouble getting into those smaller ones we found.

 

Oh how strange about the feet---Dazzles feet are exactly the same size as Theas, but her legs are skinnier.

 

And that's weird because Hyacinth's legs looks the same as Poppy's. It's just the feet that don't want to go into (and especially come out of!) those smaller shoes. And who knows what is going on with Kurt's bottom half! The less we know about that, the happier I think we will all be!

 

I can only suppose that, with such tiny parts, ANY change would be noticable---if the legs were sanded more, or the feet were not sanded as much, that would account for the finished sizes being a bit different. At least I THINK they must be sanded to an extent. I am sure they don't come out of the molds feeling all smooth and silky, and Secretdolls resin is SOO nice.

 

You might be right, Jenny, and it is something as simple as how much a part has been sanded. I really need to put their feet together and see if Hy's really is longer than Poppy's. Sure seems like it is from the shoe situation!

 

Oh goodness your little threesome are cute, Darkstar! I love Kurt, he looks so cocky in his fancy new clothes. Poppy looks a little unsure in such a scary top, like she would rather be wearing frills and ruffles, but Hyacinth looks like she is workin it with all she's got! Adorable, all of them.

 

Precious new treads for your crew, DarkStar! I've been away for a few days visiting my sister, but no frogs were harmed while I was there.

 

The funny thing is, those are the poses they pretty much decided on themselves. Hyacinth kept tucking that one hand like Napoleon so I finally just had to stick it in the pocket. Then the foot cocked off to the side and she didn't want to turn it back. She has very definite ideas about how things should be done. If Poppy looks a little unhappy, I think it is because she has gotten thoroughly tired of Hyacinth's voice going on and on, giving her opinion on anything and everything. Kurt may be a bit strange, but at least he isn't relentlessly chatty! (Oh, and Poppy is also wearing petite blythe pants that just barely cover her butt - she wanted to not wear the pants but that wasn't happening! I'm not sure she is entirely comfortable, but that is what she wanted to wear!) Whew, what a relief, linakauno! Now that Nell has that wand, no telling what she might do if she heard someone was eating frogs!
