Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Has anyone ordered a JESS from Luts coz I’m thinking about ordering one soon, I just want to see what others think of them?

      For me he’ll be perfect for a Jester character that popped in to my head about a week ago.

      He looks more like a young adult now too, before he looked pretty childish. I love the new face-up. I wonder what caused them to change it?

      I have to get this boy now, he's going on my list lol. :)

    11. Am I the only one who thinks this face-up is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen?? LOOK AT HIS LIPS! They're only half painted and the paint is crooked! If I order the makeup... would they actually ship me such a shoddy lopsided job? :evil: WTF!?

    12. Ummm I believe that's just a reflection causing part of the lips to disappear. In every other picture his lips are fully painted and perfect. Make sure you check all the reference images before you get angry. ^^

    13. Uh, if you look at the bigger pic it is not painted crooked. The one you quoted has a bit of glare on the gloss on his lips. :|

    14. No... I looked at every pictue... it's like that in ALL of them... I noticed that their face up artist suddenly thought it would look cool to only paint PART of the lower lip with the release of If and Shine. It looks horrible to me.... :(

      Look here: Totally not crooked. If you mean they didn't paint colour all the way to the edge of the lip, I think it's because Luts could be going for a more "natural" look where they sort of shade the lips rather than doing a solid colour throughout. Maybe?

    17. I see in the picture I posted, the colour in the lips just seems to suddenly cut off. I'm not sure if that's what you mean but I think it's another reflection. Luts uses some bright lights in their photos. I dunno, I guess it's just personal preference, I like them. :)

      If you don't, I guess you could always re-paint just that one part.

    18. :lol: Except I suck at painting lips! Ah well... It's too bad cause I Looooove the luts face ups on my other kids... I guess I shoud just get him blank and send him off to someone else to paint if that's how Luts is doing things now...

      .... though... I'm probably not getting him...... :sweat

    20. I don't know why they changed the pictures either, but I think they were right!
      The old ones did nothing for me but those are great!

      I can't believe Frey looks this good. He has something of a Red Latidoll boy.

      They probably realized the pictures were wrong (I guess bad feedback, few orders) and made another photoshoot.

      *goes off to look at Frey's pictures while wondering if there's a possibility to buy a new doll*
