My Luts CP Sr. Delf Dion and Lu-wen arrived yesterday! I absolutely love Dion now even though I was iffy during the wait. XD

I usually don't do the whole photo post thing for my dolls (crappy camera, horrible lighting and I hate trying to pose dolls...), but I'm just so thrilled with Dion that I couldn't help it. X_X

Don't have the outfit I bought for him off Y!J yet, but found him some random clothing so he's not nekkid for now. =3

I still have no idea as to a look/character I want for Dion, but I will love him all the same. >_>;;

I swear this guy HAS NO BAD SIDE. Every angle I've looked at him from, he just looks more awesome.

For some reason (might be just my weird brain), without a wig, the shape of Dion's head reminds me of the shape for Gonidoll Igon. It's such a nice round head (especially since Luts newer delfs have these giant bulging scalps and small face). XD

I really like the detail Luts do for their face ups. I just kinda wish his lips were a bit more defined (like...darker in the dip, cause his lips dip in pretty deep where they meet considering he's not an open mouth sculpt).

I suck at picture taking. Maybe if I can get Luckee_Cookie to take some pictures for me tomorrow I'll make a small post in the gallery. She's coming over pretty much solely to play with Dion. XD

i'd love to see pics of him under natural lighting. :3 maybe his lip-colouring will look different? i find that for pale/light-coloured faceups or parts of the faceup, natural lighting (though not when it's too bright) seems to show it off better than artificial lighting, which tends to wash out the pale colour.

i can't wait for your pictures!! ^__^ *is a total dion fan* i'm waiting for a local faceup artist to do my boys' faces!!! (i can completely understand going over to a friend's house solely to play with a dion, haha!!)

 

Dion is purdy... but somehow I don't like how sad he looks. I keep looking and I keep on getting sad because he has pouty lips and half-closed eyes...

I always thought Cian looked sort of chinless. o.0;; But it's adorable, I think. *^__________^*

I sure hope Cian doesn't run out on us... T_T I love him! I heard they will be remaking Dion later? What about Cian? *hopes*

;o; mine came in a pale vanilla cream shade. lovely to some, i'm sure, but i much prefer the faint peach colour the head from idrisfynn came in. ;o;

 

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thinking it. I wish Dion had a bit more pink to him and not just so much yellow. O_O;;

I hope if/when they rerelease him, they'd make some changes. I really love him, but it would be really nice if they made him in a more pinkish tone and if his lower lip wasn't so giant compared to the top (it's starting to remind me of the Notdoll bjds, which scare the living shit out of me). If they made him with a fully opened eye head, I'd be totally doomed to buying another Dion (but it will be a very happy death to my wallet). O_O

(and out of curiosity, those that heard they were going to rerelease Dion, where did you hear the news from?)

 

Dion being rereleased? Hmmmm i personally hope Luts would release both Dion and Cian as normal Senior delfs. I do still want Cian...

ah right now it's so hard to have the money and want at the same time. (actually i have the money... just can't spend it without my mother breathing down my neck...)

 

Well, I asked Luts on the Q&A board a few weeks ago about a Dion re-release

Their reply:

"Hi! SDF Dion will come back again around the end of this year. We just hope you keep an eye on the updates of our website. Thank you so much. "

 

i believe they suppose to release 100 of them for the first round and another 100 for the 2nd (which is also the last round). ^^

 

ooh, if they re-release him, i might try for him, in the hopes of getting a not-so-yellow one, and i'd sell my vanilla-boy. X3

 

If they make his sculpt any different or change the resin colour to more pinkish, I'd totally buy him again. Gonna start saving up now for Dion #2. XD

 

back to that alphabetical senoir delf thing, the four boys Abadon, Bliss Cian and Dion, and the 2 girls Anette(sp?) and Blanchet(sp?). theres no way its a coincidence. i am hoping for more sculpts to be released, but i do love dion and would like a rerelaese of him, as non limited(since i definitely wont be able to order til after xmas.
