I just wish they had kept the old, smoother body with better hips! Maybe I will just lay in wait for a Annette head to eventually roll my way

 

Can someone explain "Especially SDF Girl series will have new body which has more voluptuous curves than the previous one." Which body is the previous one? It seems i missed a SDF girl body?

 

If I had the money, I'd split her with you. I'm actually more interested in the body... oh well...

 

It was up for very breifly when the girls first came out, but then Luts changed the body to the curvier body and took the old body's pictures down.... I wanted to compare the two bodies, and Luckly someone actually saved the pictures of the old body. isildae posted pictures she/he saved here

The Beautiful Doll thanks for reposting the link! I thought the old body was lovely, the new one looks much harder. Miffimifster I'm in the same boat--won't have money until Christmas! Maybe just as well;-)

 

I think I prefer the new body. The SDF head looked too large for the old body, even if it was softer.

 

I liked the old body much more. I'm kinda upset that people complained to luts, so that this is the body the doll will have.

 

I wish that they would have at least kept the old body as an option.

I think this body must have already been in the works...it's not like they sculpted and produced it in the couple weeks or so between the initial appearance of the new SrD Girls and their release. perhaps they've pulled the other body for a while to tweak it, and it will be released either separately or with one or another sculpt, like the "mature" Delf body.
I've been wrong before, though...

 

Drat, I think I am still going to come up 140 $ short... Maybe I should sell my guitar, too... *ponders*

am I one of the few who likes Blanchet better? I REALLY like her face, and her cute little nose.

 

I'm thinking along the same lines-- either this, or the "original" was some kind of mock-up to showcase the new heads and the jointing system that would be on the finished doll. I'd love to hear the story behind the disappearance of the first body sculpt.

At first, Annette was the one I preferred-- probably because she had on that short blonde wig, and I'm a sucker for short hair. But, I'm warming quickly to Blanchet, and would order her before Annette had I the money right now. =3=

 

I'm a little skeptical about the new body, but not the way it's built...just the way it's photographed. They could have just used a sharper contrast instead of the old washed-out style...so the lines might be much softer-looking in person, especially the rib cage and calf areas.

The other thing I'm suspecting is that Blanchet's head is much smaller than Annette's head...Annette's newest fullset pictures still look slightly bobble-headed to me but Blanchet's neck looks waaay thick O_o.
