Senior Delf girls ANNETTE + BLANCHET

Sep 4, 2007

    1. :? Maybe someone should ask Luts why was the body changed at the last moment? I mean I really loved the way the body looked first with Annette's head on it, the body looked natural, breast shape and all, but maybe it was just to show how the new joints were, but.....still...

    2. I love her!! I've ordered her and I'm like a child on christmas! I can't wait to get her here!!! XD

    3. I asked them, and they said that alot of people had said that the first one was too thin and stuff... :(

    4. as an older doll I really like how she looks and I like the definition and to be honest unless you are going to have her in a bikini the whole time you won't even notice the body's definition.

    5. ^^ I fell in love with her old pictures too and liked the old body. Maybe I should be glad that I'm not going to throw $519 out for a new doll now.

    6. I've learned to like the new body! XD I think it will be much prettier irl too!

    7. The new body is a deal-breaker for me.

    8. I think the new body fits more as a SENIOR delf. The old one before seems too babyish looking considering how muscular the senior delf boys' bodies are, you know?

    9. I agree with you on that count, Izam. However, I always thought of Senior as referring to the more realistic, mature sculpts, as opposed to the anime-derived ones the Delfs have, if that makes sense.

    10. I guess I'm one of the few people who likes the new bodies.... *runs away before being hit with tomato*

    11. Don't worry... I prefer the newer bodies, too. After seeing the first body, I wasn't going to get a Senior Delf girl; with the new body, though, she's back on my radar.

Seems like people don't like bodies that have definition (well, girl bodies anyway, but I think there's just a plain bias against girls here. ;) ), but I appreciate the finer details, particularly the attention to details on the legs. :love

    12. I just preferred the boobs on the other one  I like both bodies, so will be getting her regardless.

    13. I liked both bodies too, though the first breast sculpt was so much prettier than the new one. I'd give the edge to the new body in every respect but this.

Why does Luts insist on sculpting every female body as if they've had a really bad boob job? It really bothers me.

    14. omg totally! exept for the first small bust delf body, that body is the prettiest ever of all brands I think!!! ^^

    15. i honestly dont see a problem with any of the girl's boobs.. heh ^^;
are boobs not supposed to look like that?

    16. *plans to have the boobs sanded off to make a boy chest anyway* Mwahahaha! I am immune to this factor!

    17. I'm planning on sanding a bit too, but it would have been nice not to have to. :P

And well... if you've made a boob-job they might suppose to look like that... :P

    18. Such a relief to see that I am not the only one that thinks the boobs look kind of... inflatable and unnatural. I guess they can never make everyone happy, and keeping both body types as options might be wise... I admit I thought the first body was way too skinny and youngish for a "senior", but the new boobs are a huge turnoff to me...plus the bodies still look skinny. I like the Blanchet sculpt though... I just guess that my female body beauty view is completely different from the manufacturers, when expecting "senior" bodies, I was actually hoping for a more mature, volupteous female figure in Scarlet Johanssen style :(
ATM, I don't really see what is the difference between a female Delf and a senior one. This is what a senior looks like?! *feeling ancient, lol*

    19. I knew the Delf girl bodies had funny breasts-- but then again, I know nothing about breasts, haha..

    20. I wasn't minding the skinny so much, because the character the doll - I ordered an Annette - is going to be is a faery, so willowy was the look I wanted. Also, she'll be very different from my existing girls and that appealed to me.

I guess I don't get why Senior Delf should mean bigger breasts and more curves. She's still taller than the other two Delf girl bodies. To me tall and willowy can be 'senior' just as well as curvy-hourglass. Neither body looked particularly immature to me. Nor did it look anorexic to me. Had they sculpted ribs above the breasts or the odd, stringy look of the Musedoll girl bodies, I might've agreed with that criticism.

On the breast issue - a natural breast doesn't have a visible, round ridge at the top, even in a push-up bra. An artificial breast, when badly done, does. Just about every Luts girl has that look - the biggest offenders being the MNF girls, who look like the sculptor cut a ball of clay in half and smushed the halves onto her chest. When the first body sculpt pictures came out I thought, wow, they finally GET it. So the new breast sculpt, with that same bloated, hard-edged, artificial look, was a real letdown.

In the end I decided that I liked the doll enough to overlook the ugly breasts.
