Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     6. It sounds like ordering the dolls through the ebay agent may be the best way to go- I was looking at their Q&A and they are recommending it. Probably the agent is better with translation and responding to issues (or has a better set-up or something). I get the impression that the website is not very well monitored... it is possible that there is just one single person making the dolls, answering questions (after translating) and trying to figure out orders. I don't know if any of you have ever used a translation service for Chinese- but the languages are not very compatible, and a lot of times there are some HUUUUUGE gaps in understanding... (not to mention cultural norms/practices)

    9. I just saw this company the other day and fell in love with it. Does anyone knows if they offer layaway? I know Jeeryama on ebay does but If they do I'd rather get it directly from the company but it seems the communications kinda slow.

    10. The company itself doesn't offer layaway- they direct you to their ebay rep. It is sounding like buying through the ebay rep might be better anyway, since the Company itself is not the best in terms of communicating (or understanding) - probably because they are using a translation program that isn't very great when going between Chinese and English...

    11. I've been looking at these girls since someone suggested that they may be a good hybrid option for a Youth DC Agnes head. Considering most of my collection is MSD sized and these take MSD sized shoes, this may be a good option for me! I love their long slender legs too as they are similar to the original DC Y01 body which has been discontinued. Happy! :)

    15. Looking through my paypal- I discovered it hasn't been QUITE 90 days yet. I honestly don't think they are scamming anyone, I agree they probably have had more orders than they can deal with. Looks like they are doing a LOT (if not all) of the finishing, packaging themselves- maybe even the casting.

      They are also not super great with communication because of the sheer difficulty in translating between Chinese and English, unfortunately. I suspect they are VERY small and don't actually have anyone who can help with the translations, which is why they have lately been pushing everyone to order through ebay.

      I have a feeling they don't know what to do with my order- I had made my second order on the tail of my doll order- and after a short delay, combined shipping for me. I paid after the combined shipping- but by some mistake, they had already shipped out my doll (they should have waited until the clothing extras were "on deck"). I had messaged them to let them know what had happened and ask what they wanted to do (did they want more shipping? to cancel the order) but they did not seem to understand my question unfortunately. Too complicated of an issue maybe for the poor translation program.

      I do really love their products though so I hope they can figure out how to proceed and not get shut down! I'm sure being a brand new doll company is not easy.

    17. Well I had to open a paypal claim (it has been 90 days since my simple order of one extra outfit, garland and mask). They never did respond to any of my emails or querries on the site, and I noticed that they have shut down the Q&A area of their site. They did not respond to my paypal dispute either. I am very disappointed. I do think they probably bit off a bit more than they could chew in terms of filling orders, and probably have some language difficulties. But their dolls are so unusual and lovely I really wanted them to be around for a long time. Not sure that is going to happen at this rate...

      I STRONGLY SUGGEST that if you buy anything from this company, you do so through the ebay third party seller only...

    19. I think if you got a shipping notice you will get the dolls- I think they are honest, just not great with communication or with understanding, and possibly a bit disorganized or overwhelmed.

      I had emailed them dozens of times about my issue, including a pre-claim email through paypal on 7/7 - (elevated to claim on 7/17). The first response that I got was today, in which I THINK they are saying they will mail out my items, they are sorry, and asking me to close the claim.

Welp, I had a tough time deciding between the new adult DC Arali and Nun sp. i love the Modigliani-esque aesthetics of both, and I, a pretty loyal DC fan....I decided to go all in on serenade. Basically ordered up the whole site...and darn me if I didn't read all the postings about ordering through jerryama until after I ordered direct >__< soooo, this is day 2 and counting! I'm frothing, I'm so excited.

      any advise on clothing / shoe options? I'm going to be ordering wigs like a drunken sailor!!! Wooooo, Monique gold here I come!
