1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. Luchan, she is absolutely perfect. Love her face up.

    3. well. i've ordered Suu couple weeks ago. so hope company won't forget about my order or so.. right before the Christmas time
since it's seem that their site is down again

    4. @xatshe congrats! Were you able to take part in their winter discount event? I hope they got your order... maybe they just need to renew their web hosting? They haven't responded to my email or the post i've made on their Q&A... FIngers crossed for you!!!

    5. @fansea
      thank you!
well i guess i'm not since i finished my payment 12/9. winter event started from 12/15 =(
i hope that's the reason since the worst scenario is that they might lost all history of the orders

    6. @xatshe oh no! Well if you finished your payment before they updated the site with the winter event, I'm assuming they have seen your order and started to prepare it? I have read many stories of their communication being poor and many not receiving order confirmations or anything... And one day the doll shows up at their door.

I hope you are able to contact them soon! Maybe talk to jeeryama on eBay and see if they are able to contact them? (they are a dealer for serenade) Jeeryama responds super fast to any questions!

    7. @xatshe I just checked and it looks like their site is back up again!!! And now the site functions better than before. lol~ best of luck!

    8. I hope this company comes out with layaway soon! I'm in love with Nun but I'd hate shelling out that much money at one shot!

    9. @Novaevitae Jeeryama is their official dealer on ebay! And they offer layaway options!

    10. Awesome!!! ^^

    11. My Ava wears 10mm eyes and 5-6inch wig. it also fit really nice:)

    12. Oh my! I am pretty new to bjd (I have my first Souldoll Stella on the way) and have just discovered this company thanks to this thread popping up in the 'new posts' feed. They are so beautiful and just the look I am after. I was originally drawn to Doll Chateau with their long spindly limbs but the more I looked at them the more they creeped me out, but Serenade have that long, lean elegance without any of the things that turned me off doll chateau. I like the more realistic looking dolls hence why I went for Stella as my first but I also like that ethereal elf type look and more unusual faces (I almost went for Souldoll Gwen) and Serenade definitely have that mix of human-fantasy that speaks to me. I really like Nova - the versatility she shows in those promo shots are amazing, from little fairy lost in the woods, to LOTR princess to seductive Lolita - I think I am in love with these! Damn it this hobby is going to be expensive!

    13. You could be almost dyyying and they won't respond. :|Well, I'm not sure about calling them, I never tried that, but I seriously considered it! I placed a second order with them like a month or more ago and in that time, I noticed the clothes I ordered are now just for reservation and they won't send out the rest of my order until everything is on deck or something like that. I couldn't find estimated time for reservation on their website anywhere. So, emailed twice, but knew I wasn't going to hear back.

I adore the sculpts of these dolls, and I realize it's a small company, but some sort of customer service-even just a quick update posted to relay pertinent info-would be appreciated:/ I've even considered just selling my Nun sp because I don't want to deal with them again, but can't! Not yet! Lol still waiting for an order :vein

Sorry for the cantankerous-ness-ery so early in the morning! I'll go see about some coffee :)

Also! Your Ava is gorgeous! Her dress is amazing! Mind if I ask where you found it? Or did you make it? Either way, it's perfect on her.

    14. Sounds like some of you have had a difficult time with your orders/questions, what a shame given the lovely products. As a newcomer it definitely does put me off the company I must say because as you've said Vesuvia some sort of customer service is really not to much to ask. I don't think the language barrier is an excuse either because using something like google translate to get even a garbled message across would be far preferable to the radio silence some of you have experienced. These are not cheap items and I know if it was my company I would be wanting to spend what would only equate to the revenue of a few dolls, paying for the service of a translator or linguist to help me if I was selling worldwide - even a local college student would be able to help surely.

What I've learnt very quickly in this hobby is that product details and what is included etc. is not always clear and there are a lot of questions that need asking before I am certain what I am buying. I live in the UK so to get to me a Serenade doll would have to spend quite some time in transit and probably be well handled in customs, so I would hate to think what would happen if she got damaged and trying to resolve that issue with the company! Have any of you had straightforward transactions?

    15. I hope I haven't totally put you off of these dolls. They really are truly beautiful and you'll be very happy when you receive them, for sure. My 1st transaction went very smoothly. It was a large order too, all the legs, hands, heads, clothes, shoes- optional stuff. It showed up about a week earlier than I figured and there were no problems. I ordered directly from the company and although I heard absolutely nothing from them, my doll showed up.

It's just been the second order for the new clothes that has gone slightly awry for some reason.

    16. They have a New Years event and the rabbit head is a gift when you buy $200 in accessories?!?!?!?! They don't have many accessories to begin with! I don't how anyone is going to be able to order that much. But OMG... that rabbit head! Rabbit head!

    17. I'm a huge fan of Doll Chateau (and have three of their dolls) but have to admit that one of the things I liked about Serenade was that they reminded me of DC before they came out with the skeletal bodies. The Serenade look is very similar to original DC body (take a look on google for Doll Chateau Olivia). I'm still searching for one of those bodies. But Serenade Doll Suu is very close to the original DC Olivia so she's likely to be my replacement for that character. Considering the amount of people looking for the older DC bodies I think Doll Chateau was premature in discontinuing it. I think they saw a spike in sales for the jointed bodies but as they've offered new ones with less joints it's becoming apparent that they novelty has worn off. I haven't ordered a Serenade doll because I've had issues with companies that don't do replies and in one case had to fight with paypal to get my money back. So I'm leery of the reports I hear on this thread though with Jeeryama in place that sounds like the route to go.

    18. Boy, if these dolls were in my price range I would pick one up right away!! They remind me of the style of drawing fashion designers use. Really elegant and pretty!! And @Shaiel ..... she is seriously amazing. I'm stunned!!!!

    19. @Shaiel, your Ava looks gorgeous! Lovely dress too!

I totally agree with you about the DC body - oh how I want one! :whee: Not that I don't like the current jointed one, but I wish DC would do some special event where they release the old body again for a short while, but I'd imagine that's not likely to happen. *sigh*

It's worth saying also that Jeeryama's prices currently include the 15% event discount. I'm not sure how the event works if you order through the official website - I did a mockup order to see if there was an option during checkout but I couldn't see anything, and I have to say that given the communication problems, I wouldn't really rely on getting a refund of 15% off the order.

I just hope that Serenade does another event like this in the future when I've had chance to save up. Lotus will be mine someday!

    20. I personally ordered through jeeryama, felt like it might be safer to go through a third party. Also, it was cheaper. Shipping was less, and there's a 15% off right now, so I ordered the Emperor Pale Ver. through them. I'm very excited, especially after seeing owner pictures!
