thanks for your kind words.. yeah.. it is seems that they don't really want to communicate with their customers. But i have a news. today i've checked my order and the status is changed to: Confirmed,Payed,Preparing
does it mean that doll is ready and it will be shipped soon?

 

I think it is more that they truly cannot communicate well- even the few emails I have were VERY difficult to understand, they are obviously using a free translator program (which you guys should know do not work very well with most Asian languages)

But yeah! That sounds like they are sending your doll- congrats!

 

My doll's status also changed to Confirmed, Payed, Preparing

Since before it was Confirmed, Payed, Unshipped maybe it does mean that they're getting ready to ship. Yay!

 

I am wondering from current owners how well the posing is, I'm sorry if this has been addressed before but I don't remember seeing a lot about it.... The site pictures make her look like an incredible poser!

 

Hi everybody! So, I ran into these dolls through the 2016 sale thread they have in the news section and I'm absolutely IN LOVE with Suu. I've been looking for a proper sculpt to fit one of my characters for years and this has got to be the one. Been a long time since I felt so strongly about a sculpt. I just have one important question: how hard is it to buy clothes for them outside what the company offers? I have a Dollshe DS18M Saint and it's impossible to find properly proportioned clothes for him. If any owners could offer their input, I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

It's not impossible to buy clothes- I think they fit SD13 (I think if you scroll back in this thread there are some comments about it). They fit standard shoes too, except for the SUPER high heel foot.

I love Su as well- she is really gorgeous.

 

@Galacticat That makes me so happy, especially about the shoes (doll shoes seem to be the bane of my existence). I'll go searching through the thread for more info tonight, but that pretty much seals the deal! Thank you! *^*

 

I'm sorry to say that I've neglected my gorgeous Su horribly- I haven't even sent her in for a face-up yet.

 

Haha, some of my dolls have sat half naked and faceupless for longer than I care to recall. :'D It happens sometimes. I'd love to see pics of her someday!

 

I've been silently watching this company for a while now, but was a bit unsure since I haven't heard much on them.
As I've been reading though, it seems even though there are a few communication problems, it looks like they still follow through will all of their orders. ?

Haha, I've also found Suu to be the perfect doll for a character I want to create! It was a bit tempting to get her now, especially with the rabbit head as a gift and the % off dolls. But it isn't the right time for me right now, hopefully they hold another event for next year with some good deals.

Even though the character I want to create using her will have 1 outfit that will probably have to be commissioned or made, I still can't help wanting to get all those other cool new clothes they have, especially those ones the 'rabbit heads' are modelling Its a shame those shoes sold-out, they were so cool!

 

That's awesome! Glad I'm not alone in my character doll endeavors, hehe. I'd also love to get my hands on that rabbit head, but from what I can make out, buying full dolls doesn't count towards it? I guess I'll find out. I'm panning on taking advantage of the sale before it ends as long as nothing unforeseen pops up before the 20th. I'm also gonna need a special outfit, but I'm hoping I'll have the drive to try and make it myself like I planned on a long time ago. I would like some of those nifty tops though...

Well guys, I took the plunge and placed an order for Suu. I noticed people having issues communicating with the company directly, so I bought her from Horusdoll since they had great reviews on here. Trying to buy a few things before she comes home and I decided to go on a hunt for small iris eyes. They uh... They're not readily available most places, it seems. I thought about going a few sizes smaller but that doesn't always work with eye shape, so I finally found what I wanted through Taobao.

 

@Cat Grenade congrats on ordering suu! She's stunning and I can't wait to see her! I know that kok collection, dollbakery, enso eyes, and I think eyeco have small iris options!

 

Hi everyone! I just found this company, and I am head over heels in love with their bodies! I was wondering though, since their heads is about MSD sized, has anyone tried putting an MSD head on these bodies?

I'll try posting in the comparison subforum later as well, but I thought I'd try here first. Thanks in advance!

 

@fansea Thank you so much! I'd checked Doll Bakery but could only find where they do GO's for small iris eyes. I am going to check all the other options you listed though!

 

@Cat Grenade they do sometimes open a preorder period for them (where you can choose colour), or have them for sale either in-stock or the "eyes of the month". However, you are limited to whatever colour is available Doll Bakery eyes are definitely worth it! They are so stunning

 

Wooo! Okay! So, I got 3 emails from them! And got all my second order stuff. Took a bit. I told the person who emailed me that they weren't getting very great reviews on their customer service and she said in a very nice way that they understood that it is an issue and that they are working hard to develop that side of their business.

They do follow through with orders and I've always noticed that they keep up on updates on the website whenever I would look at my account (impatiently heh). Also, they dont sell heads separate so, if you want another head with your doll get it when you first order.
