I finished a Titania headdress for Liesel's (nun) long gown.




Shirts and jeans to come...and omgosh, so many hand options! Woo!

On a side note, the resin of the toes and hands are sorta really easy to break. Really delicate and longish so snapped right off when finger got hung up on a sweater

Or maybe I'm just a heavy handed beasty.

well i also have a news) i got my girl today. she's awesome. so thin and tiny! and surprisingly Serenade didn't f*ck up with her or her stuff. everything is ok! doll stand, doll and 2 heads.
her name is Hanmei - once she was a Chinese princess but now she is spirit/local kami-sama of healing. that's why i need 2 different heads for her. all that she have now is wig. everything else is borrowed)

sorry for off-top doll. but i bought Hanmei for him^^ He was waiting her for about 1000 years and finally they are together!

Gratz!!! It seems like the company is slowly but surely getting into their stride with shipping & customer service. Which is awesome! What isn't awesome? I missed out on ordering the second head when I got Liesel (nun sp) and they won't sell by itself. I wanted "Ivy"

Are you going to do her faceup yourself or send it out?

Also, I'm trying to upload the other photos of the new clothes I just got in....I'm having issues with photobucket tho I will just say quickly that there's a reason they only cost $5.....the pants, anyhow. Ugh get long shirts to cover the granny-panty, high waist look. Unless, you want them to look a bit like urkel. And they are more pantyhose- tights than jeans; can't put the high heels on the feet when you've got the "jeans" on.

Imo, Raw kiss on etsy has faaaaar superior jeans. Liesel can fit the doll chateau size jean but are short. They look like capris. I'll try to post images. Durn photobucket.

 

well maybe they will sell all other heads soon so it's quite possible that you'll be able to get Ivy)

thank you) well, i still thinking about face-up. i mean i know how she looks like as character but i don't know what to do. it will be good if she'll get face-up from the same master as her beloved one. but honestly i bought one more doll from their common history and which i was looking for so long, so temporarily i'm out of money for everything in dolly-stuff x) she need lots of outfits, accessories and other, so i guess it will be long build project)

hope photobuchet will be fixed soon, i'll looking forward to see new clothes for Liesel

 

@xatshe Congrats on your girl! Would it be possible for you to take a picture of Soyala and Hanmei standing next to each other? I'm really curious to see the height difference!

Both pairs have at least 1/2" ...err, maybe 1/4", too much fabric in the crotch area

The waist of these pants fit her form perfectly. It's such a pretty waist to waste, yah know?


So, I really like the serenade tops, but think I'll go with someone else for the leggings from now on. I see there are some shorts upcoming on the website...I'll prolly get them, maybe they'll look better....and those boots!!! Want em! Has anyone ordered the lace jacket/rain jacket and bags? I was curious about how they looked and construction quality.

 

@Vesuvia Wow, you're not kidding about the granny panty fit. That's a shame. They look so cute in the company pics. I bought a pair of the checkered ones just so my girl has something to wear while I'm broke and unable to afford appropriate clothes for her, haha. Good to know Doll Chateau has a similar fit though. *v* Regardless of what she's wearing, Liesel is absolutely lovely.

 

The leggings fit perfect, it's just the waist I'm not too keen on, but it's easily hidden with the longer shirts serenade makes. Or if you know how to sew it seems fixable? They look great with sweaters too! Anyways, $5 was a good price and I'm happy with what I got

Oh man! I feel like I'm Bogarting the thread! What is everyone else doing with their girls? Would love to see new faces! Liesel is in danger of going full narcissist.

@xatshe Ahhh thanks so much! I was worried about the size difference between my Abadon and a potential Serenade doll, but I'm glad to see that they actually look pretty good together.

but the height isn't trickiest part. i saw Suu with Hong and i don't really like it.. she looks like teen with old buddy.. first thing that you should know why Soyala looks good with Suu it's his face. it was really hard for me to find any girl for him cause almost all sd girls have too big head and face features. Soyala's head is almost typical (22 cm), but he has very small and narrow face features. even face of any zaoll is bigger comparing with him. and Suu definitely will look strange almost with all bjd with big face features.. unfortunately(

@Vesuvia Since they're just leggings, it might be possible to trim the top and hem it back down? I'm no seamstress but I think it could be worth a try on a $5 pair of leggings.

@xatshe Ah! Thank you for the size comparison picture! Looks like I might have to get my Suu a good set of high heels. I was gonna pair her up with my Dollshe Saint. The nice thing is his head is also an odd size. He wears 7-8" wigs but he's 72cm. I figured since they both have a very slender frame they'd compliment each other.

 

Ahhh I see. Hnnnmmm I'll think about it then, because I believe my Abadon is a relatively large face. @A@

To be honest though, what I would REALLY like to do is put my Minifee Luka's head on a serenade doll body, but even after a bunch of photoshopping I'm just not sure...if it'll look right. @_____@

Would the high high heeled legs make any significant helpful difference with the height disparity?

 

I'd like to know that myself. I bought the normal heel for easy shoe-finding but now I'm wondering if I should've added the really high heeled set. I was worried they'd be a pain to shop for.

 

Lol, so they are! I was trying to make a pair of shoes for them and ummm, I wasn't paying attention to what o was doing and BAM!!!

 

!!! That's terrible! I'm so sorry! At least the extra leg parts aren't too expensive.

 

Oh no! Poor toesies. ;A; Maybe... Serenade will release a nice pair of shoes for them? *crosses fingers*
