he wig is really pretty- very long and silky. However, it is really hard to style! Probably because it is monofiber or something- it fights braids and is difficult to wind up. Still it looks really lovely loose. Maybe I'll add some hair product to make styling easier.

For now...

 

Wigs from Ellowyne Wilde and Evangeline Ghastly also fit Serenade- sometimes Tonner has these blow out sales and I've picked up a few wigs in the past just because they were too good to pass up.

So does Suu want to be a brunette? Or redhead? I think I have a brown one around here somewhere too...


BTW if anyone wants the regular "HIGH HEEL" blanks at cost and not shipped via EMS, I ordered a white and black pair by mistake, and would be happy to pass them on at cost.

BTW- for anyone nervous about buying different leg parts- don't be! They are SOOOOOOO easy to change- I just swapped out Super High Heel for flat- feet- requiring swapping the entire lower leg, and it was SO EASY!

I do wish Serenade would consider making some fancy Super High Heel shoes for their gals- although it is very cool that they sell the blank DIY heel for SO cheap- you can easily make some very basic heels even with little or no skill at all simply by gluing some well placed ribbons. That said, I haven't quite gotten around to it...

 

wow,so happy hear this news,I really think about to change a super high heel for my nova,but little worry about the changing way,hope they make some fancy shoes too

 

oh bad news ! Serenade has sent me an email saying the parcel has arrived in France but can't be delivered they do not know why !
They sent my two orders in an only parcel, so I do not have the tracking number, but I did ask for it right now.
Did any one here had same type of problem with Serenade ?
I'm so desapointed

 

Oh so weird! No I haven't had any problems, with any of my last 3 orders. I wonder if it has anything to do with customs ?

 

Well, Serenade's employee has been with me all the day long, really good, she phoned to their own post office, then this afternoon she was able to tell me that the goodies have been in France for 10 days (which means it took only 5 days to arrive from China to Paris !) and that for a reason their post office could not explain, the parcel was stoked some where.
I went to my post office who explained me that it was a fast deliverey service they do not work with, and they gave me a phone number.
I had a nice personn at the phone who told me after verification that my parcel had been sent to a wrong place, and, "by mistake", it "had been forgoten since" ^^. So they took my phone number and they promess I will get my two orders to morrow
I must say I am mostly surprised by the serious way Serenade has hold this problem, as I understand now they keep an eye on their parcel till it has arrive safely. Great people, really !

Thanks Galacticat, yes I was terrified it would be French customs, but no they let it go easely by luck.
Can't wait for tomorrow to come

 

Actually- that is amazing they kept track of it. I think they are trying REALLY hard to correct some early clumsiness with their customer service. They must have someone new in charge now because it has been AMAZING- and yes- SUUUUPER fast.

I'm glad to hear it was a mess up at the post office and not a mistake by Serenade- but at least they didn't lose it! (The US postal service also misplaces things- but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get someone on the phone so your package could stay lost indefinitely)

Charlotte sp is soooo tempting (if she's available). that was the first serenade sculpt I loved. Maybe Illyana needs a girlfriend?

I am super hyped to pay off my girl, might even be able to do it sooner than the beginning of next month cause suddenly I got a whole load of eBay sales and it nearly covers what is left on her layaway!

EDIT2: Serenadedoll deserves an award for their customer service on Sunday. Not only did I get a confirmation that they got the money and I will be getting those freakishly amazing antlers as a gift () but also that my girl will ship next week.

@rianne I am still pretty floored that I am getting them for free cause I had asked how much I owe them if I add those to my order. They won't be for my girl though but for another doll, provided her head can support them xD

 

I'll have to remember to ask them about the antlers once charlotte sp becomes available. I did get an answer, and she'll be out sometime this year.
