If any one is looking for just the body, you can find it at Serenade Doll's Taobao website (here). Try looking for〈Serenade系列〉1/3特体-女体素体 under the 1/3 Senior category. What's really baffling is the price for the body is the same as the price for a full doll.

 

I tried to skim through this thread as best as I could but 30 pages is a loooot to read ... so I'll ask (and if it's already been asked/answered - I'm sorry!):

The rabbit's store page seems to imply you can buy a body with it, but unless I'm blind and missed it - it only lists the cost of the head.
Anyone know how much the rabbit head + body costs?

Okay, yeah I'm blind .... I found the price for the head & body together. Ignore this silly question! :P

Maybe not anytime soon --- but I certainly do think I'd like one eventually! I'm a sucker for object heads and other oddities - so the rabbit head would fit wonderfully in the little monster squad I want to build. (˚▽˚) ♡

I only just stumbled Serenade tonight and I kinda think my wallet wishes I hadn't ... but I'm completely smitten.
The super high heel legs and extra hand pieces are especially beautiful!

I've been lurking in this thread for a while, but since I'm going to be ordering my Nova tomorrow(!!!) I can't keep quiet anymore! Especially since I have questions!

I love these girls so much, they're so beautiful. And Nova happens to be *perfect* for the character I want to shell. Eek!

I had a couple of questions.. does anyone have a Serenade Doll girl in NS they could show me? I've seen plenty of the white, pure white and tan skintones, but not much of the normal skin.. which is what I want for my girl :p

Also, what size eyes do these girls take? I've heard everything from 10mm-14mm.. crossing my fingers for 10mm so I can start poking Sprouty Eyes with a stick and deciding if I want those or just my usual Eyeco.. lol.

 

My girl is NS! And she wears 10mm eyes, I can't imagine 12mm or 14mm even fitting! I think Rianne's girl has 8mm Oscar eyes and those work too.

 

Ohh thank you! I was wondering if your girl was -- sometimes I've seen WS Serenade girls who look almost NS so I wasn't sure lol. And thank you! Now I just have to decide what eyes to get for my girl.. :p

And also your girl is GORGEOUS. I am constantly in shock over how beautiful these girls are omg.

 

Sorry to double post, but I have to announce this: I ordered my girl!! Kenzi is paid in full and now I just wait! (And her girlfriend has been ordered on layaway!! Just waiting for them to change the amount around for me and stuff so I can make the first payment on her :p)

 

I've been waiting 11 months now for my LE from Serenade, and last I heard it was coming this month. I'm really excited and I feel incredibly impatient.

 

@roserising, roterwolkenvogel is right. My Illyana has 8mm (mehi art eyes, but they're the same size as oscar). I recommend 10mm as the safest size for most folks. 8mm will get you some gaping if you aren't an eyelash maniac like me (I did double-lashes and knew that would make here eyewell effectively smaller).

@EtherealMyst Which doll are you waiting on? My friend and I have been waiting since June for our Charlotte and Nightingale, and we're getting antsy. The admin at serenade says all the silk gowns are holding up orders, so it's nice to see an LE shipping.

@rianne thank you! And your Illyana is so lovely, she's one of the dolls that made me want a Serenade girl of my own so badly.. I saw her when I was looking at your pictures of Max while I was waiting for him to arrive and I fell in love! She's so beautiful.

Wow, I love the creativity of Serenade Doll. So unlike anything else I've seen before!

I was considering going for the white or pure white skin for my future girl, and I was wondering if anyone had any info on how much and how quickly these resin colours yellow? (I've always avoided white resin in the past for fear of dolls turning obviously yellow.)

 

Oh nooo, are they releasing Charlotte.SP soon? :O my girlfriend is going to scream, that's her favorite sculpt from them ever since she saw it on the Serenade Doll Flickr! I told her we might have to get more Serenade Doll girls... (she has an Ava on layaway rn :p )
