Serenade Doll

I haven't looked at Serenade for a long time. Now I'm in love with the robot girl. did they put LED lights in the face mask just for the photoshoot or do they come with it? clever idea!

What does 'reservation' mean? need boots!

edit: ordered Lotus with 3 dresses, a few hands, heel legs.
glad to see mechanical parts & rabbit head can be ordered separately later.

 

Oh wow, I'll be curious to see Lotus when she arrives There don't seem to be many owner photos of her around so it'll be good to see some more. I've always thought that there's something quite enchanting about her.
Did you order her blank or with a faceup?

do her faceup so that she appears to be either sleeping or just looking downward for a moment, depending on the angle of view. we'll see how that
goes .....it's always so different when the doll actually arrives.
I imagine with the clothes, she might take a while to ship.

 

Yeah it has gone rather quiet in here lately. I lurk, but as I don't yet have a Serenade doll, I've never got much to contribute to things lol. I've always liked Lotus and she's definitely one of the girls I'm considering getting, although I don't know whether or not I'd eventually get tired of her eyes being constantly closed Part of me thought that if I did buy her, I'd get a second Lotus head at the same time and open up the eyes... but that's just a vague idea at the moment. I'm not in any rush to make my mind up yet as I'm planning on waiting until the end of the year when, fingers crossed, Serenade offers another discount event on their dolls.

I know exactly what you mean about doll plans changing once they've arrived! For me it always seems that there's a 50/50 chance that my idea will be completely different once I've actually seen them in the flesh (or resin rather). That's partly why I'm so reluctant to buy any clothes or things in advance these days - I have a growing collection of items that were meant for a certain doll, but then never really put to use At least I'm probably not the only one with that problem though!

It'll be interesting to see how your plans work out for Lotus though. I hope she doesn't take TOO long to arrive!
Oh, what colour resin will she be in? (That's another choice I can't make up my mind about either!)

 

Juliet is in tan, and has her own story. (I hope she fits her character!)
I figure with no faceup that will speed things up a little, but the silk dresses slow things down.

I see you have SD Shiva. lucky girl. I was soooo tempted.

In the Marketplace, there are dolls that show off more of the girls' assets (booty, back, hands) than the web site. sad to see them for sale so soon.

HI everyone! So I have just recently become aware of these dolls and I love how unique they are, their bodies are so interesting. None of them fit with my current collection as I mostly have fairyland minifees but I could definitely see myself owning one and giving it a Tim Burton or Coraline "other mother" vibe, especially with Ava!

Anywhoo, I REALLY need a pair of their boots in almost every color haha they look like they would go wonderfully with my minifee girls, but it sounds like the company's shipping process and communications are quite bumpy and that really scares me! Are there any vendors that sell the boots??? I've seen some people mentioning Jeeryama on eBay but I just looked and he only has the dolls.

 

2 months & getting impatient.

 

I thought I'd have to wait 2 months for my Rabbit head but it only took a month. No real communication through them so I don't know. I got confirmation of my order and my payment, then I got my shipping notice. Sweet and simple, so I'm no judge of their process other than it worked for me.
@petiteballerine I hope you get your shipping notice asap.

 

it's a bit odd. a month ago they said they were preparing for shipping & didn't have the dress I wanted in stock. would I like a different one?
I said yes.
but no word since then.

I think I'll ask politely how my order is going. I thought maybe tan at this time of year might be a problem.

Thank you, I love him too. He can look sweet but he can cop an attitude like 'whoa'. He needs to get out into the fresh air, but it's supposed to get hot again and I know the vampires mosquitoes will be horrible after the storm.

@Luckyl - I believe they do sell the rabbit head separately. that looks like white to me. no clue about the body. love the rabbit head!

I actually wanted to make a fairly large order (doll, clothes, and stuff) from Serenade for my birthday.
But I should also be responsible and not. :S

What would you guys say is the general wait time between ordering and receiving?

 

My rabbit head was at my house in a month.
