I can't find measurements for these girls- anyone know the neck circumference?

ohhhhhh !!!! I've just ordered to CloverSinging two heads, Lotus and Suu, I 've choosen Lotus because I need a sleeping beauty, but now, with this new one coming, I am stressed as it's might be an even more beautiful one ? I really do not like the duck noses some of their dolls have, like Suu so I am not that sure I made the good choice !

hum ... forgot to ask : would any one has a photo of Suu's profile ? I am so so worried about the nose !
By the way, for those who hesitate to get a rabid head : I am very much in love with mine I had for more than a year, with no make up because I could not send it to the artist and stay too long without him lol
By now, when back home to Paris, I will send it to a French artist who has agreed to make it look like my Peterbald cat (they look a lot similar, so funny) which is an off white cat with dark blue long nose and tail.
Oh, for those who have asked so nicely news about Rudolph (my Peterbald kitten) through FB, he is doing fine by now and has got the OK from his cardiologist to take the plane, I was so, so scared, but every thing worked fine and we did arrived to Madrid safely. Let's cross our fingers it will be fine for the return next Saturday

Oh she is such a beauty !!! I have seen her portrait on your FlickR, It's why I finally did ordered this head even thought I am stressing about the nose which might not do for the personnage I want her to be ... but your photos are soooooo great, I do not know if I must congratulate you or say "naughty you" to have influence me that much with your so artistic photos lol

 

Thank you for such great compliments! i hope you won't be disappointment in her, she is very beautiful. yes she has very specific nose so it's very depends if you like that kind of nose or not, since it's turned up. i rather often make photos of her from the side

Oh she looks much like a sweet "ingenue" while mine is to be a rather "dark" older girl ... hum, she looks so much to what I want on the front face photos, what a shame !!! I think I am to turn my dark young lady into an ingenue then, no choice ^^

guess it's all depends on the make-up. Hanmei has second head with demonic look. here you can compare, i wouldn't say that this lady is ingenue at all ^_^

Has anyone ever bought a doll from Serenade during one of their discount events?
I'm just wondering how the discount is applied to the order, since as far as I can tell, the dolls are still listed at their regular price on the site.


@Abell I know that feeling; I was going to order a doll while the event was on, but now I don't know if I should wait until Apsara is released instead! I wonder if she will be a normal doll or limited like the Artificial Bird and the Emperor dolls are - the gorgeous outfit she's wearing in the photo just makes her look to me like she may be limited, or at least have a full set version that is.
I hope she's released soon!

@xatshe Your Suu looks fantastic I love that she has two heads with different faceups to swap between. That seems like such a great idea I've often found myself wishing that I could change the faceup of my dolls without having to repaint them, so the idea of having multiple heads is pure genius to me!

what about your first question, i've bought cyber legs during last winter event and as far as i remember they change the price couple days later when your order is confirmed

 

Have you seen that Clover-Singing is selling the Serenade heads for 79$ instead of 90$ right now ? so I will not change my choice and will keep my order for Lotus's head as I believe you'r right, the beautiful outfit Apsara has on might indicate she will be a limited edition, sadly, then, we very probably will not be able to buy just the head, so I give up for the moment ^^
Apsa's veil made of jewels gives me an idea for Suu if I really do not like her particular nose, easy to make and easy to take off if needed for another look.
About Apsara, if she is really a limited edition but is just too beautiful not to have her, may be one might ask for a really long layaway to Christina ? she is always very easy with layaway, so let's hope


@xatshe : thanks so much for the photo of your Suu, it encourages me to keep my order for her, and I love her face so much, I might as well use a wig which does not let see her profile too much if needed.

Sadly, Kingnut does not seem to be on the market any more, if you go on her Flickr page, last photo was August 2015, and the last photo is speaking by itself. I remember she has been ill and did stop her creations around 2014 (not sure of the year), I am thinking about emailing her, but no much hope ...

I had the same issue with the checkout when ordering some clothing, but everything was absolutely fine and my order status was updated to 'paid' a couple of days later. If you're worried you could always send them a message (which is what I did because I'm the anxious type )

Oh what a bad week !!!
When I opened my Serenade box to take Miss Rabbit off : half of her head and body had yellowed while the part in the dark grey "protecting foam" (word for it ?) is still of the beautiful white I am in love with
Xatshe : did you get this kind of bad surprise when you received new hands , I think you wrote some thing about it, am I wrong ?
I am really so, so sad, of course I can help the body, that is with a special rubing and blushing, but the head will have to have a stronger make up and it was not at all my wish, sadly. Also, I will not be able to erase the "molded hair" and human ears because it would not be of the same color of course. (crying)
Then, I've posted right away the head to an artist I know to have Miss Rabbit done as a "sweet" sexy girly rabbit and no more as a very white bald cat with long blue/grey nose and hears.
By now, I will not confirm my order for the two more heads because there color would not match the "yellowed white" body any more, like right now the hands which have stay white because still in their pacage.
By chance, as I have pre order a short time ago a Marmitte Sue with the new posable natural body, I will have the kind of girl I had in my mind for Serenade, but helas it will be a MSD not an SD.
To those who are to order a Serenade, I would advise to buy all parts at the same time, all the heads one want and the hands too, as if not, one must have in mind that the added parts will not match.

yeah, i confirm, my new pair of hands that i've ordered a year after the whole doll were much more brighter even pinkish, while the whole body was darker with yellow tone. i didn't put them on the sun, but now the difference is hardly visible. just slightly brighter. hands without any blush
