Serenade Doll

Eeeep! I love it! Okay, it's a done deal. I put my Supia up for sale so I can buy a Serenade Doll. x3 Gorgeous, Galacticat!! Thanks so much for all of the photos I think you've made a lot of people very happy with all of these pics!

She really is too gorgeous- I love her lines. Can't wait to see other owner pix now!

OH - and I forgot to mention that the doll has a very large, obvious, gold painted, indented stamp on the back of her head- labeling her as a Serenade doll, and basically making her head at least, very difficult to recast. Also- her Certificate of Authenticity would be very difficult if not impossible to fake- it is on special paper and the "birth date" (shipping date to me) is hand-written.

So obviously Serenade Doll is aware of the growing re-cast problems and has taken some measures to prevent that at least in part.

I find this very helpful- as Serenade does not yet offer much in the way of fashions (and no wigs or decent shoes)

 

This seals the deal for me! I know I will get one of these tall lanky super thin models for myself! Hopefully during Christmas or sooner! Must contain self control and not use my credit card for paypal....

 

Good for you! I actually can't recommend the doll enough- she is absolutely stunning in person. I am blown away.

So I figured out that I got a second set of the lacy underwear, and a stand- as a gift? It appears that the other person who received her doll (on flickr) got the same thing. There is no explanation in the letter from Serenade- but I think it is a really nice gesture. I wonder if it is something they are doing for a limited time? NO explanation on the site or in the package...


On an unrelated note:

Does anyone know of any MSD "super high heel" styled feet?
The super high heeled feet Serenade offers only come with some DIY type heels- that look like this:


I am pretty sure regular MSD "high heel" doll shoes will not fit this foot-

 

I don't know what to do...I have already pushed my Supia Naomi back twice now for other dolls. I really want to get her next, but these dolls are AMAZING. The more I look at the website and Flickr, the more I want to buy Nun.SP. These bodies are just incredible...and they don't charge extra for tan skin? How am I going to be able to resist much longer??

Also, I love the super high heel feet! They remind me very much of Monster High doll feet, whom have the best shoe selection ever.

Okay does anyone know what happened to the website? It is not there or are they down for maintenance??

 

Don't worry- it will be back! It goes down when they have too much traffic. The first time that happened I panicked! But it was just bandwidth- the site will be back

Glad to know it is just too much internet traffic, I so want Suu with small chest and in NS color. I can't get over how wonderful your doll looks with those super high heels feet.Truly a super model type.

 

I saw these dolls a while back but due to me having a hiatus from the hobby I didn't really pay so much attention..
Now coming back in and being somewhat active I saw [MENTION=64962]Galacticat[/MENTION] BO and I fell instantly in love x'D
I am smitten with Nova and Charlotte.. Hoping that Charlotte will be available when I can afford to order at some point later this year ^^
I fear I might have to push my Supia plans a bit back as well XD Ahaha...

I can imagine Nova as an elven queen @__@ Just need to mod a point to those ears~~

The website is back up- I got an email that is a bit confusing from them, I suspect they are using a translation program but it appears that their order system was broken and they are trying to repair it.

 

Uh did they up the price for shipping? I did a mock up on a blank doll and the shipping was $102 for EMS to the USA......oh well guess I will definately have to save up if I want Suu or Ava.

 

I can't be sure- but I actually had emailed them asking about a shipping problem, and they responded as follows:

I could be wrong- but I read that as meaning there may be something wrong with their order software and/or website ordering- and that they have not yet fixed it, possibly because they were/are attending the Shanghai Dollers Pagent? (I googled this and apparently it is like a BJD type convention thing with new dolls in Shanghai China- which is not close to where Serenade is located).

They are definitely not great with communication (in terms of speed or ability to understand what they do communicate) - but that is my take. I would check back later to see if it has changed.

 

Yeah I will just wait and see if they get it fixed. It will be a while before I can get Suu or Ava anyway.
