Sharing A Body?

This just isn't something I could ever do myself. xP All my dolls are based after characters I've created and they all have very specific bodies. One of them is actually getting modified right now because he has a body from the same company as another doll I have and I wanted them different because those two characters have anything but the same body type. Also, they all have their own unique physical traits-one has grey skin, another albino, and one covered entirely tattoos...so it really wouldn't work if I tried anyway. xD Plus, I love all my boys too much to put one away so I could play with another one. I love snuggling them together, not one at a time.

 

teehee it not that i will be bored, but nanuri aka Hien is going to be mischivious and play a major trick on his target, one head his him as himself, the other a maid (female) and finally a s&m goth lovely boy (he say he's the manager at the club) and since he put a limit on his powers to spice things up, he can't be at all three places at once

I was going to get just one head, but then it a pain to have to wipe off the face up each time the scence changes >.>

 

I really like having my dolls be able to interact with each other >__< I also only would have like two that could possibly share as they are both DOT, except.....One of them has tattoos and the other doesn't and I really want to tan one of them >_>;; I kinda don't like the idea of floating heads either tho. I'm looking at other dolls I want and they are a little difficult since they are body swaps, but I'm trying to decide the best way to get them to avoid floating heads >__<

 

I have a two boys sharing one body, until he gets his own.

Its kinda funny, but for now it's amusing...

 

When my dark elf soo vampire will be ordered, I'll order her head and a female body.
I also have a floatig lu-wen vampire head which will be female as well.
So they will share the same body for a while.

But when they share their body, I will also be saving up money to buy a second SD female body.
But because they can share the same body (because they are also from the same company), I don't need to rush and save up money. So I can save up slower and save up for other dolls at the same time.

 

I have no problems with that, since two of my heads belong to characters who are frequently not around. xD

 

I really have no problem with it, but most of my characters are going to end up with body markings or tattoos at some point, and can't share. Right now, i've got one floating head that occasionally gets the 'use' of one of my other boys' body, but the scar he's got doesnt work for the 'visitor' ^^; (also, its a bit awkward having a mnf head on a kid delf body ^.~)

My main issue with floating heads is photostories or groupshots. My floating boy is an important character, and it'd be very hard for him to interact with his close friend if he's on his friends body XD; Also, i'd been thinking i could get my next boy and have him share a body with my current floating head, but it might make things interesting considering they're supposed to be lovers ^^;;;;;;;

 

I just ordered my doll and they will have to share a body for a while. But I still hope to buy another one. They're personalities are just to different for the same body

 

I tend to like them with their own body, my ocd takes over in that respect I think.
I cosplay my dolls quite a bit though, and I wanted to have a doll that looked like Gaara from the Naruto series, so I bought a head to paint for him. At the moment I don't keep him around as a whole doll, I just let him borrow Fuine's body if I need to take pictures or something. I imagine I'll eventually pick the poor guy up a body, but for now I'm fine with sharing. Considering I only have one outfit for him, it's not a big issue.

All my other dolls have several clothing changes. I'm also a seamstress and I have certain dolls modelling certain styles. I'm going to pick up a Shiwoo soon, and he'll have his own style like my other two. So for now I have two and a floating head that I switch once in awhile. For any permanent dolls though, I like to keep them together for the majority of time, so I need another body.

I know about saving money, though. My boy is an X2 Cain, and he came with an X2 extra Louis head.. I ended up doing the extra head as a girl and just picking up a body for her, it was much cheaper than another doll completely. She was awhile bonding with me, but a couple faceups later and I've found the perfect look for her ^^

 

I've had dolls share a body for a period of time, but it's never been a permanent solution. Right now my NaNuRi '07 and Breakaway '08 are sharing a body but eventually I do plan on getting my Breakaway his own body. He's got scars my NaNu doesn't have and my NaNu has tattoos my Breakaway doesn't have. *L*

 

I have a lot of dolls, and while it may not be as many as some it has become an issue for me since I have been moving around a lot. Right now all of my plans are to start having everyone share various bodies. If someone requires a NS SD13 body, then they can share with either my twins or my Heath. Only a few dolls of mine have very specialised bodies.

Sharing is a good way to save space and money.

Someday everyone may get their own bodies. And I say that like as though I already have body-sharers, when right now everyone has their own body. lol.

 

I started out with each doll having their own head. I have reached the limit of dolls I can display all at once, so I started buying heads only. That way, I feel like I got a new doll, but it takes up very little extra space & I haven't spent as much money. Of course, some dolls just have to have their own body.

 

I don't mind it, as I'm already doing this as a way to have an 'extra' doll without hubby going all at me.

 

with own body means a real complete child to me, it takes time waiting for a chance to buy new body

 

I may end up having a floating head for awhile (because I want to buy another soon on layaway) but I dont mind her being a floating head and sharing a body. (and this one will probably share a body with my Feanor head.)

and the others have their own bodies coz they have diff skintone/size/gender
i don't mind sharing as i can't take them all out at the same time
my mum thought that i only got 3 dolls, and she would be mad if she found that i have more

 

The only doll I have that shares a head is my limited Luts Delf Lu Wen as he came with a spare sleeping vampire head. I use the vampire head as his 'cursed' form. All my other dolls I'd prefer to have bodies of their own.

 

I have a drawer full of heads without bodies. I'd rather have full dolls, but in order to get the dolls I really love at the time they are available (various minimees, dolls that have been discontinued), I can't always afford to get a body at the same time. I just buy bodies for them as I can, usually when I find a bargain or come into a little cash. *sigh* I don't know where I would put them anyway if I had bodies for them all as my house is small and my hobbies take up lots of space.

 

Harley and Elliot (MNF Woosoo and sleeping Woosoo) used to share a body, but Elliot is being sold. I have a MNF Lishe head on the way, and she'll be sharing Harley's body until I can afford her own ^_^
