Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Shin-san, thank you for the tips about re-stringing my Suzune :) Oh my, I can not wait to see an elf head for Fragille! I am sure she will be lovely.

      Regarding jointed hands, I had a pair and sold them. I just did not care for the jointed fingers. Besides the hands on the Fragille and Thaasa bodies are so petite I imagine it would be difficult to make them jointed.

      I think I can make it, but I think I would not make it. ^^);;
      When I started doll making six years ago, I asked myself if I do that, watching joint hands of JAPANESE ART DOLLs.
      Then I thought it is not elegant for my dolls.
      And I would rather concentrate on better body functions,
      and faces, which, I think, most important for dolls. ^^);
      Someday, I might do that suddenlly, when I am sure I can do it elegant. ^^):

      As I am not belonging to big doll company, or as I am the representative of ShinyDOLL,
      I can make any head if I like. ^^

    4. I think it is wonderful that you are able to make any kind of sculpt you like! The freedom must be very nice :) Now I am excited to see what new elf head you might make for Fragille. I wonder if she will have ears like Yakki or like Eefee, or something different from those two? I guess I will just have to wait and see, lol ^^

I can understand what you mean renee_chan, that there are foremost construction issues to take into consideration, but at the same time I wish the fingers would match bodies in superb pose-ability and complete their expressive range. So I guess we'll see what the future holds for Shin-San and his engineering skills and materials! :)

      Shin-san, should you ever plan a more mature head, I would really like to see a head with smaller and more slantered eyes, and a slightly bigger nose placed just a bit lower. I'd be happy to send you an example, if it's ok for me to modify a photo of an existing head to better show you what I mean.


      It will be an exciting wait for the new elf head!

    10. My Suzune, Chisa loves to play outside! She's very good at climbing trees :)

    13. I upgraded my Fragille body with the new hip piece, and would definitely recommend it! Her sitting is really stable now, like Thaasa ^^

    14. Really?! That's wonderful :) Is there a difference in outward appearence between the new torso part and the old? I've thought about getting the new piece for my Chisa but I think I'll keep her like she is and whenever I order Hikali (or the Fragille elf that may be coming!) I'll get the improved body. I actually want to find a Thaasa I body so I'll have all three versions! I guess that's just the kind of collector I am.

    17. Love her new face up! It's nice to know Narsha things will fit the Fragille body. I'm slowly building Chisa's wardrobe but am having trouble finding shoes that fit her petite feet. Do you know if Unoa or Minifee sized shoes will fit?
