1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

ShinyDOLL [Fragille] Information and Discussion

Jan 10, 2010

    1. Renee-chan, I found out that Rosette doll -shoes fit Fragilles almost perfectly ^^ I have three pairs from them and they are wonderful.

    2. Thanks for the tips on shoes, babytartragon and Uninu! I'll go check out Rosette doll shoes :)

    3. Renee_chan -san,
Thank you for the photos of your Suzune-chan. ^^
She looks elegant and charming. ^^

    4. I just put a fragille hikali in layaway! I am so excited to get her. I was coming here to find out foot size and wig size. It looks like shoes for rosette will fit (and I just ordered a rosette muse, and a pair of shoes.. darn it! wish I had money to order a second pair of shoes!) and a 7-8 size wig.. I'll go back through the posts as I'm curious as to the length and width of hikali's feet. If I don't find it, I may post again requesting info if anyone has it. :)

Can't wait til my girl is paid off and home. The fragille body is just so lovely!

    5. 6-7 wigs are best for her- anything known to fit a Unoa will be good :)

I'll try to remember to measure her feet tomorrow!

    6. Shin-san, I wanted to thank you again for allowing layaways - it's so helpful when purchasing dolls. I am truly looking forward to getting my girl. In reading through this thread, I'm curious if you have any new pictures of the fragille-e body and if you've made any more progress on the elf head? Looking forward to more pictures too.

      ETA: reply to babytarragon

Thanks so much for your quick reply! I'm seeing other posts about wigs sizes that say for hikali the 7-8 wig fits best. Oh no! I might have to buy a wig in 2 sizes to make sure I get the one I want that fits, lol. Or maybe I'll just make her a mohair wig.

    7. Hi, madaise-san,
      You are probably J---.--- -san?
Fragille is already updated to Fragille -e.
But I am now updating Ftagille-e to Fragille II.
Both upgrades are related to hip joints.
And I believe Fragille II caught up Thaasa III, that's why I dare call it Fragille II, instead of Fragille-e which is sub version of Fragille I.

I am now making new Fragille head. ^^

    8. Oh wow, so exciting to know a new improved Fragille body is coming out! And a new head! I can't wait to see :D.

madaise: Goodreau Doll shoes fit Fragille feet perfectly without socks, you can find them on ebay for fairly cheap and the quality is nice, I have 2 pair for my Suzune, Chisa. The Goodreau clothing line also fits well and a lot of outfits come with shoes.

I've been ordering Chisa a lot of things lately and a friend of mine is sewing some things for her, so she will soon have several new outfits! I'm sure she would not mind sharing her new clothes with a new friend. I'd planned on getting another Fragille but have been waiting to see if Shin-san would release a new head.

    9. I don't think I have joined the discussion thread yet O: So Zumi (my Suzune) and I are saying hi :3

And I can't wait to see the new Fragille head O:

    10. Congrats on Hikali madaise! I can't wait to see pictures!

I am really looking forward to seeing the new elf - Yakki and Eefee need a new sister!

I read somehere that fragilles can wear some Tonner clothes. Does anyone here know if that is correct?

    11. YamiInaba: Chisa says hi to Zumi! Suzune is such a cute sculpt, I think Chisa is the cutest doll I own, and I own some pretty cute dolls!

bajib: I've heard that Tonner clothes fit the Fragille line too, but I don't think I've seen any pictures. That would be wonderful if they could.

    12. babytarragon, when I measured Fragille feet I think they were about 55 x 20 mm. But I was not using a very precise measurement method, since I basically drew with a pencil around the foot when it was standing on a piece of paper and then drew lines with a ruler to determine the length across and along the foot.

Shin-san, great to hear about more body improvements!

And yes, it's me again to ask something about hands that I should have asked before had I thought about it then :blush
I have noticed the Fragille hands are in fact not that much bigger than the Pricco hands.
Is there any chance of you making new hands for Fragille that are just a bit bigger/longer?

    13. miravisu-san,
      Thank you for your comments.

      There are several things ^^);;;
Making hands need much more time than other parts.
      Changing mold needs big money.
Both are hard things to do for ShinyDOLL at least now...

And, if she were Japanese girl, she has right-sized hands.
      We have small hands and feet, actually, while Pricco has bigger hands like anime character. ^^);;

    14. Thank you very much Miravisu for measuring fragille's feet. I was curious how closely they match minifee and it sounds like they are almost exact, perhaps a tiny bit narrower. Regardless, sounds close enough that they'll be able to share shoes. :)

I hear you on that, Shin-san! Todays economy is just terrible - so money is even harder to come by some times. I'm so glad doll makers are willing to do layaway! Otherwise I'd be doing a lot of dreaming... without the dolls.

    15. Thank you for sharing babytarragon. She looks perfect!

    16. madise-san,
Thank you for understanding production affair. ^^

      babytarragon-san,
I am so happy to see photos of your Chizune-san. very much dolly. ^^

    17. Since you said that, I've been looking out for some... but right now, I'm broke and just paying on layaways will keep me busy. On the up side, I did pull my sewing machine out and starting to use it again. And, I do think at least some of my clothes (minifee) will fit her.. plus, getting a rosette muse girl, I think I'm going to be able to share some of the girls clothes -- I'm so excited!

If I get any, I'll post pics once I have my fragille girl.

She is SUPER cute! Love her little romper. All the pics were so sweet. I think the last two pics are my favorites. She's got this innocent attitude. :aheartbea

    18. I'm so excited, my friend is making a custom outfit for my Suzune, Chisa! It will be mint green and white and I'm sure it will look so nice on her. I'll post pictures whenever it is ready :D.

I took Chisa to a small meet up last weekend to introduce her to two ladies that are interested in dolls, but have none of their own. They loved her! They were very impressed with her seiza-sitting pose and they loved her body sculpt. I was very happy to be able to introduce more people to ShinyDolls! Next time I'll take one of my Thaasa girls so they can see how nice the big girls pose too.

Shin-san, are you still working on a new head sculpt? I am eager to see it along with the new Fragille II body. All of your sculpts have a unique art doll feel to them, I think. It is very exciting to imagine what your newest girl will look like!
