ShinyDOLL released THAASA's 9th head FELICE

Oct 2, 2005

    1. did you sculpt the dolls by yourself? you must have worked really hard, the results are beautiful!

I particularly love the Youki head, she is a very special girl

    2. Thank you very much for loving Youki, and questioning.

Actually, I sculpted all original clay doll.
Thaasa body took 1000hours to develop, as I persued both outer sculpting and posing ability at the same time.(3hours/day * 365days)
I am now afraid of that onother 1000hours would be spent for developping boy-body. Ha,ha,ha *_* .

Now casting of body is done by outer factory, where Unoas are also casted, I heard.
Casting of head is done by ShinyDOLL with no silicone-barrier-coat, obtaining strong paintability.

All fine extra works after casting are done by me, including drilling rubber holes and grinding boll-joints, without which THAASA's high poseabilty can not be obtained.

    3. The work you've done is really impressive! She's got a perfect form for modeling clothing. I only have boy dolls but if I ever needed a girl I would have to get this body.

I think this might be exactly the body St. James (another DOA member) has been looking for, I'll show her and see what happens.

    4. I am very happy that you watched the body shape.

I hope St. James -san find love with THAASA body.

    5. She is so compelling! I can't stop coming back to this thread and looking at her picture.
Shin, you do lovely work! 1000 hours!!!
I think will definately need to bring a Felice home very soon. ^_^/~

    6. :o :o :o
This doll is amazing! And inspiring! Three hours a day for a year!
I am deeply impressed with your engineering skills and your dedication has made this girl come to life!
I have been searching for a girl body that could handle more traditional Japanese poses while still maintaining a slender modern appearance for other fashions. It will be some time before I can make another doll purchase, but the Ivory resin color would be my choice.
Are there any plans for optional parts like split-toe feet for tabi and geta?

WOW! The more photos I see on your website, the more I love her! How frustrating to have to wait!

    7. Thank you very much for enjoying photos and loving FELICE! 8)

    8. I beleave Thaasa Body well matches your needs.
If you actually requests split-toe, I am happy to make it.
It does not cost so much time to develop it, I think.

Thank you very much for your curiosity. 8)

Thank you very much! I will definitely want split-toe feet when I order her. (Now I have to save the $ !)
