1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Short hair or long hair?

Jun 13, 2020

    1. I like long hair since I LOVE to make braids and stuff so that way I can play with my dolls and their style

    2. I tend to prefer long hair wigs for my dolls because I can do more styling options (add decorative bows/clips, up dos, braid it, cut it, etc.). However, I do love a good short wig because it gives me a better view of my dolls cute faces.

    3. I seem to go for short hair or shoulder-length hair more often, which is kind of funny because I have super long hair myself.

    4. I answered this back when the thread first started, and the majority of my dolls mostly boys that SD and larger still have long hair. Although I now have quite a few guys with shorter hair as well. Short haired wigs can be really nice, if you can find and style it to fit the doll and the dolls personality. I am enjoying the variety of having my guys with both long and short hair. The girls have long hair, but I don't have a lot of girl dolls.

As far as my MSD's and YOSD's all my boys (Kiwi doesn't count.) are now wearing shorter wigs. I got a fabulous deal on short 6-7 doll wigs that I bought in bulk, and I was able to rehaul all of my MSD and YOSD boys. They look amazing to me and I love the shorter hair on them.

I used to only want long hair on all of my dolls, I now enjoy the mixture of having both and really feel that the length and style of the hair should depend on the character of the doll. I want it to suit the dolls personality.

      Bonus: I have long hair.
