1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Simply Divine Discussion - Part 2

May 10, 2016

    1. @AubreyMeeksArt - He looks so fantastic! :D

@Rook_Sever - He's so stunning and regal. All of your dolls are amazing, the care and attention to detail in each of them is really inspiring. <3

    2. @Quiet and Insane thank you! Oh, I am so happy that I was able to find artists who helped me with props, and my King looks like King now :3nodding:

    3. @Quiet and Insane Thank you!!! He's my current fave lol.

@Rook_Sever his props are Divine. But he always looked like a king. He's gorgeous! But also, I'm so glad he came together for you :) I hope you spam us on instagIns with him

    4. My medusa just got here! No good pics cause I am super sick right now. Is it normal for them to be super dusty? Or for the hole for the S-hook to be super rough?

    5. So...I ended up going ahead and ordering Thomas, and I'm really anticipating his arrival:D.

In the meantime, a couple questions for you all: how long does it generally take for Simply Divine orders to be fulfilled, and what is the general quality I should expect? Also, what is the circumference for his head? I've currently got a wig I'd like to be certain will work for his noggin when he arrives that's got a hard cap.

    6. @AubreyMeeksArt awe, thank you! Hope I'll be able to make his outside photos soon :3nodding:

@Chameleon congrats! Yep, both of mine have rough hook holes, so I suppose it is ok

@jade-eyed-cat it took almost 3 month for my Jesse to arrive. He has some casting issues, but not on the face, so I accepted it.

    7. @jade-eyed-cat my harlequin and Thomas are beautiful but my Thomas came with discoloration on the resin on the back of his head so like Rook Sever, i didn't mind.
My heads shipped within a month last time and I just ordered Jesse and it's been about three weeks so far.
But Liz is amazing with communication so if you have a question just ask her :)
I make my guys wigs but I have put them in 9-10 wigs.

    8. @Chameleon - My Harlequin was a little dusty and had a rough (and slightly wonky) s-hook hole. Took me a couple of minutes with a small file, magic eraser, and soapy water to fix.

@jade-eyed-cat - My Harlequin took a couple of months, though at the time shipping was delayed due to terrible weather, so that might not be the best estimate... :sweat Overall quality is quite good, though mine did have some tiny casting issues, all of which were very minor and quite easily fixed. No idea how big a Thomas head if I'm afraid. Though if he's anything like a Harlequin, a 9-10" should work quite well.

    9. My Thomas turned up pretty quickly, but this was way back in 2012 when they were newish. Decent quality casting, fine facial details, with nice solid thick resin throughout.

Admittedly now other people have brought it up, the s-hook accepting side of the neck hole is a little rough, but it's all internal and it's a decent thickness/shape unlike some overly delicately designed heads. I'd rather the thick resin of this head to some of perfectly neat, but stupidly delicate s-hook grooves I've had from other companies.

He was still paper white when I redid his face-up last summer, so the anti-UV stuff seems to do it's job!

Whilst he is a 9-10" head... Due to his shape I've always personally found he fits better in stretchy 8-9" wigs than 9-10" ones, but YMMV.

    10. @Vetinari is right on the money with the resin being nice and thick. It's very solid and really, a joint like the neck, where there is so much pressure really benefits from it. It's not going to break easily.

    11. My Jesse head is out for delivery today!! (I'm pretty sure out for delivery means delivery to local customs xD but I'll take it.) I think I should be able to pick him up end of the week or by monday xD

    12. @Rook_Sever Thank you! I hope you don't mind him joining your guy in the instagram tags lol!

    13. @AubreyMeeksArt  firstly I thought I misspell the tag because there were no other Jesses on the insta :XD:

    14. @Rook_Sever I know! lol when I was looking for owner pictures of him I was surprised you seem to be the only one tagging him on instagram xD But as I've said, I love yours and seeing him so I wasn't complaining lolol

    15. My Jesse arrived!
I posted a little box opening here on my Instagram!
I put him on Lucien (my Simply Divine Harlequin)'s Dollstown 18 body just to see how he'd look with his wig and horns and eyes.
I'm waiting on a 5stardoll superstar body for him and the measurements are similar to the Dollstown 18 I believe.
I'm gonna wait to paint him until the body comes in, should be like a week or two until shipping :) I'm gonna heavily blush him so when I mix the paint colours I want to just do it all in one shot :D
I'm so excited. This head is gorgeous. I can see similarities in it to the Thomas and Harlequin. Even if it's just sculpting aesthetics. So I'm confident it's going to work perfectly for my third abomination brother :D
