@SophieSinister Mine is on a Ringdoll RGM3 (in custom color). It's an expensive body too, even more with custom color choice (it's +$60 and you need to send a piece of the color you want, like an headcap)

Speaking of my Harlequin, he got new eyes (in the right color, violet and no longer green) and I finished his wig today.
He's currently looking like this:

Hi Sophie..I have a Simply Divine Harlequin that the previous owner had blushed that made him almost a tan color...so he is on a Tan Spiritdoll Proud body..I LOVED this faceup and so had to blindly get a couple of bodies to try and match him...I also have a Simply Divine Jesse that I have on the Akagi body in the normal skin..had to do some sanding on the neck to get more movement but the size and resin color is very good, I think

He is perfect!

Quick and terrible photo of one of my Simply Divine guys, realised that I take photos of this guy even more infrequently than the other dolls in my bjd group. Painfully I need to redo his face-up, I was aiming for neutral, but he's ended up far too content for the character he's supposed to be - Dr Nicholas Rush, perpetually overworked, underfed, sleep-deprived, over-shouted at, Field's Medal winning, pragmatic, PTSD suffering, nicotine craving lump of grumpiness that he is...

 

Hahahahaha! I love his description! That fleshed him out in one sentence! I don't know, I think he definitely looks tired and worn out ( and maybe a bit exasperated) there. But he also looks like a nice guy. ^_^

 

Hee! Thanks! Got to admit I can't take any responsibility for the character, which makes it even more frustrating that my bjd-version is taking so long to come together. Though at least with the planned face-up redo I'll be able to attempt some of the detail techniques I've been meaning to try out.

 

Follow-the-Wind, could you please make few photos of your gorgeous boy without clothes? a friend of mine want to buy for her Harlequin Ringdoll body but can't find any pictures to see the proportions. thanks a lot in advance ))

So, long time no see!
Even though Nik (my Harlequin) is one of my most precious guys, he's been suffering by his bodylessness and hasn't seen daylight much. A friend of mine was selling one of her old Dragondoll bodies and since I had the funds for it I thought it would make an excellent temporary body for Nik. My original plan is (was?) to get him an Akagidoll body, but after receiving the Dragondollbody yesterday... I'm not so sure.



I'm ridiculously happy about the proportions with this body. The shoulder width and the length of the neck, it's just perfect! The colour is way off, but as he's getting an extensive neck tattoo the colour difference will be thinned out (and the hands are way off as well xD). I'm just so very happy about having a body for him, finally being able to get working on all his clothes and tattoos and everything!

And as several people have been asking - it's the 2nd generation, double jointed Dragondoll uncle body. Pretty old, from what I understand. You'll have to google "Emperor Huang" and click the MoC link to see the company photos of the body xD All in all, even tough I've had it less than 24h, I'm so very happy about this!

Sorry about having the wig on while taking the photo though, it sort of ruins the reference part, but I got so excited I couldn't think straight xD

 

ooo congrats on the body! Looks good and when he has clothes on and accessories you wont notice the difference...Neck tattoos are great cover ups

 

Hey guys! I just wanted to share my boy Warwick. He's a Thomas on an Akagidoll 72 body I know the quality of this picture is awful but Warwick Darling here are more pictures of him

 

I tried Harlequin on IOS 70 new body. Тhe photo shows that the head is a bit big for this body. But when you look at it in reality, the difference is not sо noticeable. Нead and neck are combined perfectl -)

Wow, so I've been seeing so many stunning Thomas' and now I'm super interested in him.

Has anyone tried Thomas on a more scrawny body? Like a Doll Chateau 70cm body, a Dollshe Rhythmos body, or something similar?

EDIT: I just saw a photo earlier in the thread of the Dollshe body. (Totally overlooked it!) That's... definitely not the look I'm going for, haha! I was looking more into the thread, and saw a mention of the Resinsoul 70cm body. Any more references for that body in particular?
