1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. When I saw him at first, my first thought was: French revolutionaries storm the Bastille:D. There's something about him, something from France. My proposals:

      1. Augustine (for eg. Augustine of Hippo or Louise Augustine Gleizes)
      2. Louis - King Louis XVI (executed by guillotine in the Place de la Revolution in Paris)
      3. Jean Baptiste (for eg. from novel "Perfume").

    4. #1 Connor, because it's one of my favourite names. It means essentially a person who loves dogs. Who doesn't love dogs?
#2 Barnaby, which the internet tells me means something like a child of prophecy or exhortation and since we're having a contest to name him, that seems sort of apt.
#3 Urban, which is 'of the city' and he looks like a modern day rocker sort, cruising around the city.

    5. 1. Declan
      2. Rhodry
      3. Garyth. A man who is honest and tender, caring.

    15. 1. Barlaam - according to Judeo-Christian legend, was the son of an Indian king, who became a hermit. Largely believed to be Buddha, and a few saints have the name, too. Just something interesting I learned the other day.

      2. Endymion - a human man the moon goddess, Selene, was in love with. When she asked Zeus to give him immortal life, that jerk thought a nice way to do it would be to put the guy in a coma on some mountain. just saw someone else selected this one

      2. Moritz - German form of Maurice, famed Roman soldier who also shared the name with a Byzantine emperor.

      3. Paris - a name with many interesting possible implications. Yes, it's the name of one of the most romantic cities in the world. Also the name of a guy who kidnapped a princess and started a war that saw a bunch of guys sneak into a city in a big wooden horse. Sort of a coward but he did kill Achilles, who was sort of an A-hole. Plus, it's the name of that guy in Romeo and Juliet who basically only exists to make the surviving characters feel bad.
