Sio2 Dolls

I'm not surprised since the artist did say if people wanted Ragdoll bodies to get Burmilla instead since there wasn't a plan for this demon girl to have cat legs especially when her extra feet can't be worn on kitty legs. Also I think it's $50 over cause she comes with resin wig. Burmilla's basic package did not come with resin wig.

 

They did say they were considering when people requested the Ragdoll body... u.u I thought the basic set included the wig O.O Right, now it makes sense haha Welp, I guess it's still not the time for me to get one of her dolls.

 

Awwww, Aoandon is such a cutie. It's too bad that she doesn't come with that outfit.

 

Gahhh I keep being tempted by Aoandan. That face is so cute. I thought I liked Burmilla more but now I prefer Aoandan. This isn't a good time though, sigh. I'll have to start a Sio2 savings fund just to make sure I'm ready next time she releases a doll.

 

Sio2's dolls doesn't always come with an outfit during pre-order. However the artist does sell the dolls with the outfit through auctions. I posted a photo a couple posts back of the previous auctions she hosted and I think most of them went for $700-1000

Ah yea I was under the impression they said they were adding one more package to the basic package because people were interested in the geta feet and accessories.

 

Ah jeez I haven't checked this thread in while...Aoandan might be the final straw tbh...I'd have to put myself in doll jail for a while especially because I just ordered a Souldoll Bonnie but GOD I'm just too weak for cute little horned demon girls What's clothes/shoe shopping like for their 1/6 human body? Do they fit most things made for standard yosds?

On their website they says
"Ragdoll body has a smaller upper body compared to regular Yosd (1/6) doll, therefore we would recommend 1/8 or Blythe doll size upper wear for her.(For example: 1/8 T-shirt or Blythe jumper skirt)"
their feet of human body seems the size of regular 1/6 body~

 

Interesting to know. On which auction site does she sell them? I have to say that I really like the outfit in the promo pics.

Do I understand it correctly that the doll comes completely blank? No faceup for that price?

 

The auctions are held on Yahoo Japan Auctions and yes the pre-order doll comes blank.

 

I'm behind on the times- didn't release Aoandon had released already! o_o As much as I am tempted, I don't think she's in my budget right now. She's so cute though and I really like her extra parts; it's too bad they are only sold in the full set.

 

Hummmm I am kinda understand why Aoandon only have human body, the character seems from some japanese demon documentory?i suppose it called 百鬼夜行?
What kind of demon come with kitty feet if he/she is not a cat i really love the bun wig btw, and thoes holding hands

These releases are so tempting! Still going to wait until the perfect doll, but I have to admit, it is getting harder.

I love the bun wig too! Aoandon would make such an adorable tiny Geisha. Gotta stop giving myself ideas!

yeah I have a ragdoll body for my cutie and she is a little bit hard to find clothes~ but she wears blythes JSK just fine lol

UPDATE: I talked with Yeko and she offered a refund upon return for my Sio2 dolls due to the scratches/smudges/imperfections however I told her it's okay since I don't want to return both dolls. After talking for a little bit, we realized that TaoBao's International EMS service REMOVED the official LipStick Box + COA to reduce the weight of shipping; thus that's why I only had to pay $15 compared to $40-60 for EMS (someone purchased just Civet using a proxy and had to pay $40 for EMS)

Because they were shipped in a poly-bag that might have contributed to the scratches/smudges but it's not 100% certain as there is still random pink smudge on Civet that wasn't from anything so it must have shipped like that and the raised imperfections on the back of her thighs can't have been from shipping alone.

So if anyone is thinking of purchasing using TaoBao's international service, please be aware that they WILL remove packaging without consent to reduce the cost of shipping for you.

 

ughhh that's really unfortunate that they removed the box and COA. The box looks really nice (and I hope my girl will come with hers...I don't know now if my proxy repacked the box as well or not). I'm glad Sio2 is offering some help, though I wouldn't want to send the dolls back either. Much easier to keep them and clean them up. At least with the pink stains on Civet Cat- even if they can't be removed, they can be covered with a faceup/body blushing.

It's really too bad about the box though...I think any kind of box would be better to ship them with than just a mailer bag!

 

Yikes! Thanks for sharing your experience, and I'm so sorry that happened to your order. They are still adorable and on the bright side these flaws look like they could be covered up relatively easily.
