Sio2 Dolls

Ugh, I guess they wouldn't understand the importance of keeping the CoA and box with dolls and probably really thought they were doing you a favor but that is still disappointing. Any chance sio2 would be able to just mail you her papers in a simple envelope? Both Civet and LipStick are absolutely adorable though, congrats!

ugghhh that's awful! And just when Sio2 is considering taking international preorders for Civet Cat and Bleater!

They posted a poll on Facebook on everyone's preferences on Civet and Bleater, for anyone who is interested!

 

So I've talked to them and what I thought was the CoA was actually just the box art/photography. I guess the CoA is just her business card(?). She said you have doubts if your dolls are recast or not, you can send her photos and she can verify them for you.

 

Ugh, any doll being recasted is disgusting to hear about but especially such a small and sweet company's :-( ! People's entitlement and greed is really just too much I hope they can get the knockoffs taken down somehow.

 

Whoops, double posting here but I just placed my pre-order and sent my deposit for Aoandon! Super exciting even though she definitely won't be arriving until early next year My only worry is that in the email they sent me with payment instructions after I filled out the order form they said that I won't receive my order confirmation until a week after the pre-order ends...I emailed asking if there was any way for them to confirm that my payment went through and they just highlighted the same text i was confused about sent it back. Anyone who participated in their pre-orders before have any advice? I just want to confirm that the considerable amount of money I just threw out into void of the internet reached it's destination

 

I won't be placing my order til later this month (Aoandon has had my heart since I saw the first pic), and I'm doing a layaway, but I'll let you know! The directions were kinda confusing, I had to read through a couple times.

 

Their order process is same as Burmilla right?

 

Seems like they aren't sending any kind of confirmation emails until after the preorders end, according to the website. Which is strange. The last preorder, they sent out emails the next day, but maybe they changed their mind as to how they want to organize everything. I think if you have a paypal receipt, you should be okay. That should be enough proof if there is a problem.

Definitely gonna get myself an Aoandon I've been wanting one of these cuties since RagDoll first came out, and they're the first one that I've fallen this hard for!
Another thing - I was browsing the artist's weibo to find more pictures of Aoandon, and I saw this post (posted from Yeko's account). Google translate did an OK job, but I was just wondering if anyone knew more about it? There's a listing for this doll in the taobao shop (actually two now - another one appeared today) but it's only 500 yuan so I'm not sure if this is an actual doll listing or something else. Just curious because the doll is listed as "Pomela" or "Pomira", so maybe it's a new sculpt? Or maybe I'm reading way too deep into this haha. From what I can kind of gather it may be a china-exclusive listing anyway, but I'm still curious :U

 

That is Burmilla. She is being released to China collectors. Her full price is 1680rmb for naked Burmilla and 2490rmb for full set (clothes, wig, eyes and faceup)

 

Ah, I had a feeling it might have been something like that! Just wasn't sure since she looks more smiley in the pics than I thought Burmilla was, but I guess I didn't cross-examine the pics with other sculpts enough haha. Thanks for clearing that up ^^

 

Yup the 500 cny is just the deposit / layaway for people who are splitting up the payments

 

Congrats! She definitely stole mine too lol But yeah let me know how it goes for you, the directions aren't as easy to follow as most company's sites.

I guess I can kind of understand why it might be easier for them to send them all out at once, but it's super nerve wracking. They didn't say anything about there being a limited number of spots in the preorder, but I'm so worried that they'll get too many orders and cancel mine or something like that I'm probably just worrying too much but having to leave this as an unconfirmed order for the next month is really not a concept I'm loving.

 

I asked the SIO2 qq group, they say sio2 usually just period limited. If there is a quantity limited, they will say the numbers like cold dew or white dew. XD should be fine

 

I received my LipStick today!!
She is very cute, her name is Akari!

Unfortunately she arrived with two left hands... X'D I contacted my agent ..

 

She's so beautiful even blank! Shame about the hands, hope you can get that fixed! (At least it wasn't two left feet >u>;; )
