Finally got the order confirmation email ! That was a stressful few weeks lmao On a side note, does anyone have any idea if I could buy extra hands for her? I ordered set A because I didn't see myself using most of the extra pieces and didn't want to pay another 120 just to get the other hands but I'd reeeeeaaaally like for her to have something other than clenched fists 24/7 lol
I asked SIO2 if extra hands would be available before I ordered, but they said they wouldn't. I'd really love an open hand option as well, but seems like it's just fist hands for now. Maybe they'll have extra hands available for separate purchase in the future? They told me that they're still seeing how international orders are going and getting used to them so they don't want to complicate things for now. This was their email back to me: "Sorry we don't has extra hands option right now, but we are trying to improve our system. Hoping we could provide a better service in the future"
@avianAnnihilator Awww that's disappointing but honestly about what I expected :,( I very rarely see big companies selling extra hands for tinies separately much less small artists...hopefully they will in the future though! Maybe in the meantime we could find other hands on the MP? Earlier releases of ragdoll/burmilla/lipstick came with several sets of hands right? Some owners might be willing to sell
I received the right hand for my LipStick today! Now she has both hands yay! In the end, I skipped on Aonandon. I didn't have the funds even with layaway, that's too bad.. I will be looking forward to see what y'all will do w/ yours when you get them!**
Yay grats on getting both hands! I skipped Aonandon because I decided to hold off and use my funds for another doll as I've already got two Sio2 1/6 dolls. Can't wait for photos of other people's dolls though!
i finally got my Funan in the mail today people mentioned him coming in a suitcase but i was not prepared for that suitcase to come in a plywood box (!?!?) mine also got wet somewhere along the way so it was kind of gross but the suitcase it self was fine (sorry my pictures are kind of huge) i opted to have my guy in a fiber wig as absolutely adorable and stunning the resin hair is it's really top heavy ^^;;; i was lucky i had a wig that fit him! he is smaller then the average yo-sd (it is 5.5 instead of the usual 6-7) and also although 14 mm eyes fit in his head the irises are generally too big so these are 12mm and i even managed to hunt down something to wear! He's sooo cute!!! That wig looks adorable on him, haven't seen too many that aren't using the resin wig so it's nice to see him in one! That yukata looks adorable on him (that bow in his hair too aww!) Congrats on your boy arriving, he's gorgeous!
Gosh, I'm so jealous of everyone who got Funan, he's gorgeous and I love him but I didn't get a chance to order one. I hope to see more pictures (yours is already looking great even blank, @du-hast!)
avianAnnihilator thank you! i actually haven't seen anyone else put him in a fiber wig (but doesn't mean it hasn't happened!) to be fair his head size is odd so even if you wanted to you may not have a wig that fits;;; and i am glad you noticed the ribbon xD it felt naked without something in his hair! vicemage aww! well with any luck they will re-release him like some of the other sculpts kurogane thanks i am just glad i had something that fit! i was planing to put him in rococo inspired ruffles but he looks great in Japanese prints too, i may need to adjust my plans stylized dolls can be so versatile

ok i painted him up! (i also learned that loosening his stringing actually made his head more stable with the heavy hair somehow yaay! ) he turned out sadder/more worried looking then i intended but still really cute >u< also a tip for my fellow funan owners, i found that his back legs tended to slide out form under him and the back upper legs would not lock properly in to the bean but a minor mod can help a lot here is a picture (sadly i have no before pic sorry!) and now they lock well enough that he can have a yo-sd on his back with no fear of falling if you want to see the whole pic spam you can find it here Evening Dreams — there was an attempt i like how he can go from “i...

kurogane thank you the faceup felt like it was missing something so i added a flower xD through if i re-do the face up i would move it so it's more visible with the resin hair, it didn't occur to me that the hime side bangs would cover it oops avianAnnihilator thanks i wasn't sure if i should add any at first but now i am glad i did!
Thank you for this tip regarding his legs. I've been struggling to get my Funan to stand, he's been kneeling almost the entire time I've owned him and it's frustrating when his back legs NOPE out and he can't stand. I'd check mine but I'm out of town. It looks like you've sanded the joints a bit for a bigger groove? Also I love his resin wig but I hate using putty to keep it on. Thank you for mentioning the wig size as well. I was considering buying a fiber wig but my smallest yo wigs are too big and he wasn't standing so I took a break lol. Are you going to do any body blushing? Either way, your deer looks super good!
